I suggest waiting at the bus stop after the roundabout as cars are slower. Took me a bit because the first car wanted money but I got a ride out of Bucharest towards Giurgiu

Got dropped there by my last driver which wasn’t ideal but the shoulder was big enough for cars to stop. Got a ride in a Moldova registered Porsche all the way to Bucharest, probably gained a whole hour by the outrageous speeds he was going on the national road.

Ok, this is likely a great spot, but I just didn´t have a lot of luck. It was night and asking around, the majority go just locally, don´t speak English, or are going on vacation with full cars. But after 4 hours asking around, I found some Slovaks who took me to Bucharest.

It's a terrible spot to find a car going west, as I did. I was waiting with a sign west in my hands. I hoped that someone would pick me up before going to the new exit on the A0 motorway. But as I understood, people are not yet used to this exit and prefer the old Bucharest ring road. So I had to change my sign to Bucharest and drive a couple of kilometers to the old ring road.

No one wanted to give me a ride at the truck stop, so I got frustrated and was going to walk across the border to Romania. But as I was walking past a gas station, I saw a car and asked if he can take me across the border. It turned out that he was going to Bucharest.

An excellent spot to go to Bucharest or Ruse.

Driver before helped me ask for a ride across the ferry to Bucharest when my plan changed from Constanta to there. Might not be as good if you don’t have help asking for a ride.

Great spot, we tried to talk with ppl on the station and a McDonald's but without any luck but when we in desperation tried hitching on hand one great guy give us lift to bucharest and saw with us one castle

We hitchhiking from OMV in Bucharest at 6:15. We waiting for car 5 min. Beware of liars who will pay you. We sit to car and he asking for money. But location is perfect also connection by M3 from city center. And you are on road to the highway.

Exceptional spot for going to Bucharest. My girlfriend and I sat down on the gas station exit and ate a sandwich with our sign in front of us, and a guy picked us up before we finished the sandwich!

One guy that was heading to Bucharest airport gave me a ride. Very friendly and funny ride. You have the Carrefour parking lot exit there and an extra lane to the car stop.

Perfect spot to go both Bucharest and Craiova direction. Enough place for a truck to stop. Cars going slowly because of the round about. Some people might not be nice but the right ride will come!
