Shit gas station with almost no traffic. And all the traffic that is there is going to debrecen or surrounding towns. We were trying to go to Oradea and noone was going there until one van picked us up. But some people told us that there is more romanian traffic on the gas station before. But that traffic might just go to Satu Mare instead. But probably i would recommend trying one gas station before maybe.

One male 40+, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Crucișor village to Baia Mare, about 40 kms (successful). I actually felt like walking that day. Plus there was almost no traffic in the village. After 50 minutes and 4 kms, the 15th car stopped. The guy was going to Satu Mare, so I passed. But he really wanted to give me a lift to the nearest junction, which was.... less than a kilometer away. So, I decided to please him and I let him to give me a lift 😁

One male 40+, one big backpack, raininga bit. On my way from Valea Drăganului to Crucișor, about 180 kms (successful). The previous driver thought he was going to Satu Mare, but his navigation let him here. 10 kms before the city. And he dropped me in the middle of an express way with no space to walk. For a kilometer I had to walk through fields until I reached this village. Quickly I've found a good place. A gravel bay before a bus stop. Good visibility. No shade. I got lucky, coz after a minute I got a ride to Satu Mare.

A bus stopped there, even though there were no signs it was a bus stop. A superb good visibility. No shade. After 10 minutes a guy stopped and he picked me up. He was going to Satu Mare. At least that's what he thought. Coz he finished 10 kms before that city. And he dropped me in a very uncomfortable place.

Got a ride to satu mare. Not a lot of cars with numberplates SM but the 3. took us.

In front of the train station you can take bus number 11 until transilvaniei, the spot is just in from of Lidl ! I hh there with a friend ( 1 girl 1 boy) and we waited 30 minutes to find a ride to Satu Mare.

From Zalau to Satu Mare. Somebody left my in front of train station, bat there was a lot of ppl doing local hitchhiking so I preferred to move from there to here, When after 3 min, a got a car. Is was raining and I was alone. Even if is straight, cars, have plenty of space for pull over the car.

Good spot from Cluj Napoca to Satu Mare. I stayed, just 3 min, before to get a ride until Zalau Is a petrol ROMPETROL station.

Best spot to hitchhike to Satu Mare, Baia Mare, Maramures! Locals use this spot often as well!
