Estis tre malfacile alveni ĉi tien. Ĉar mia veturado de la lago Galbenu iris al Sibiu, kaj la elirejo de Brezoi al Bukareŝto estas neebla, tro rapida, neniu loko por halti, tro da rapidaj kamionoj, tro danĝera. Do mi decidis iri kun ili direkte al Sibiu ĝis ni povus trovi lokon, sed ĉar ankaŭ tio estis kamiono, ni maltrafis la haltejon dekstre proksime al ĉi tiu stacio kaj ili fine portis min al alia benzinostacio 6 km norde, de kie mi ricevis veturon ĝis ĉi tiu.

Much better than the previous spot. More trafic and even the locals told us that this is the best spot for lugoj and sibiu.

Since the highway to Sibiu is not open yet, all cars pass through here, so lots of traffic. Bit hot without shade on a summer afternoon, but some guys took me straight to Cluj.

Since the motorway is there, its much more difficult. Best is to use a sign for direction (CJ for Cluj, SB for Sibiu, TM for Timisoara).

We reached late at night and decided to wait for the morning to continue hitchhiking. The restaurant is cheap, the food is good and it's open 24h. There's also a 24h service station with cozy sofas to sleep in and power sockets. Buy water at the service station rather than the restaurant, it's 5 times cheaper for the same amount. In the morning a truck driver gave us a lift to Lugoj in Romania, although we could have gone further to Sibiu. There are many Romanians passing by, go talk to the people rather than showing your sign. If you're heading to Serbia ask for Szeged, sometimes that's as far as they can take you before the border.

good spot, but be careful, there are cars sometimes going very fast and theres not that much space to stand, was there around midnight and took as 10 mins to got the ride to better place outside Sibiu

To sibiu, 2 guys. Cars are going really fast and have 2 chances of stopping for you if they really want to. We were lucky i guess. You can try on the exit of deva after roundabout(we failed), maybe you will be more lucky than us.

First car we asked gave us a ride to Brasov. The spot seemed great with lots of traffic both towards Brasov and Bucharest, if you can manege to get a ride here then it's probably the best spot in Sibiu.

This spot is great for getting out of Sibiu, but a lot of locals use it as an alternative to public transport so you might end up waiting a while. If you can manage to find a ride to the petrol stations further out then that is probably your best bet.

Our previous ride dropped us off here since we were going in the direction of Sibiu. There's steady traffic but not a lot of room to stop. We found a ride after 5 minutes, but our driver told us the spot wasn't great. I would be cautious going here, but it seems decent.

A great spot if you're going towards Deva or Sibiu. There's decent traffic from the city and the cars are going slow with a lot of room to stop. We caught a ride to Deva after about 15 minutes.
