Very bad spot for trying to hitchhike beyond Belgrade. Only local traffic. Also the employees of the gas station were really unfriendly and asked us to move away from their gas station. Finally we gave up and put “Belgrade center” on our sign, getting a lift to Novi Belgrade to a bus station immediately. From there we took a bus to the city center and then took anther bus to an appropriate spot on the other side of the city (see hitchwiki!!!). From there it was very easy

It seems to be a pretty good place to hitchhiking in the direction of Budapest. There is a gas station, a large parking lot for which trucks and passenger cars stand. The station can be reached directly from the E60 road. We tried to catch transport from there to Budapest (from where we wanted to go further towards Belgrade) we were lucky and we came across a driver from Serbia who easily offered us a ride to Belgrade. In general, the traffic is quite high and a lot of locals and tourists. (There is also a Tesla charging station so maybe you can hitchhiking a Tesla)rating: 4/5, wait: 30 min 💬+🪧, ride: 474 km ↘

I had a sign with Belgrade and asked a few drivers. The third driver I asked first said no but then came back to me and told me that I could come. He was going to the outskirts of Belgrade but he told me that there where free busses.rating: 5/5, wait: 5 min 💬+🪧, ride: 21 km ↖

I was at this spot 2 or 3 times but never got a lift fast. Usually I was waiting for 40-60 minutes. Some rides took me just to the highway to Belgrade/Budapest but a lot of people travel all the way to Novi Sad and Belgraderating: 4/5, wait: 40 min, ride: 115 km ↓

Again we got a ride (couple) in almost zero time to Belgrade. There is no space for cars to stop, however cars go very slow and drivers do not mind to block traffic ;)rating: 5/5, wait: 1 min 🪧, ride: 163 km ↖

HH at 8 AM in "Autokomanda". One of the best spots in Belgrade to go south along A1 highway. Got a lift to my destination (Paraćin) with a driver, who was going somewhere close to Macedonian border.rating: 5/5, wait: 30 min 🪧, ride: 161 km ↘

A good spot for Belgrade. I was sceptical at first bcs google maps was showing me a different faster route to Belgrade but a local guy told us this is the road people take. We got a sign to Belgrade and got picked up pretty fast. Its near a gas station so a lot of place to pull overrating: 5/5, wait: 30 min 🪧, ride: 121 km →

We were trying different strategies (me and gf), what worked in the end was sitting right at the exit of gas station before the parking. Most of traffic for holidays, full cars - we were saved by a guy going to Belgrade and got to the last rest stop before turn to Bosnia :)

Great spot for hitching out of Belgrade north. There is quiet a lot of traffic, mostly local though. Easy to get a ride to a gas station or toll station on A1 northbound somewhere near Belgrade from which you can then hitch hike towards Novi Sad and Hungary. We were 2 guys, used Novi Sad sign and got a ride to Stara Pazova toll station.rating: 5/5, wait: 10 min 🪧, ride: 20 km ↖

We were 2 guys. A lot of cars passing through, they are going slow so they can clearly see you. When we were there, it was the middle of July so must of the cars were families going home from vacation so cars were full. After like 2 hours we declined 1 ride to Gevgelija. After another 2 hours we finally got a ride and it was all the way to Belgrade, we had a sign Serbia. Before we also tried with sign Skopje.rating: 4/5, wait: 240 min 🪧, ride: 552 km ↑
