I mean its not a bad spot for Belgrade, but for Sofia there is not many cars going to Pirot, we waited mby 4 hours and then we took a break, became friends with the toll gate staff, got coffee from them, had a proper hour-long cig break and magically at around 9 pm when it was already dark the first car we tried to stop after the break stops and gets us to Pirot, so if I shall give a recommendation, ask for some of that magical coffee stuff theyve got at the gate

No trucks here, otherwise ok spot. A Serbian picked us up and lifted to Belgrade. The soda machine takes euros but DOESN'T RETURN. Cars go relatively slow.

We were stopping to Belgrade and NOONE goes to Serbia, everyone is going to Romania. Otherwise good stopping spot. Good spot for spending time, spent the night in a small forest. Free WC.

One male one female, signed Milići in order to head to Zvornik (and ultimately Belgrade). Cars are going kinda fast but they can see you from a distance The most wild hitchhiking experience in my life happened. Two guys driving out from the gas station said they could take us to Milići. Then on the way they said they could do Zvornik too. Eventually they said they could take us all the way to Belgrade -- and they did They're from Serbia themselves (work in BiH?) and were driving a Belgrade car, so I supposed they had family/friends here. But if I understood correctly, they were initially heading back towards Han Pijesak after dropping us off in Milići (already the opposite direction of where they were going) They treated us to snacks and drinks along the way and played cool music. The only unsettling thing was both of them each drank about 5 bottles of beer the whole way. I suppose they drink and drive often, and we arrived in Belgrade safely, but it could've not been the case

One male one female, signed Vlasenica (ultimate goal Zvornik/Belgrade). Cars are going kinda fast but they can see you from afar due to the angle of the road. No shade One local guy from Vlasenica picked us up. Speaks insanely good English, and gave us a bottle of Rakija and took us to Motel M in Vlasenica, a great restaurant for ćevapi and pljeskavica

One male one female, signed Sokolac and a guy headed towards Han Pijesak took us. This gas station might not have shade but has plenty of pull off space and cars can see you clearly Direction Zvornik/Belgrade

Literally waited for 1,5 minutes. A good spot to leave Belgrade in my opinion.

9 pm, solo male, second car I asked took me to belgrade. free beer and croissant. god bless Serbs. busy gas station.

evening of Saturday, all cars are full. after 40 minutes got a great ride to Nis, asked to drop at the gas station on the highway right before that. easy to keep going to Belgrade.

couldn't even finish sign ("KU"), got a ride to perfect gas station from which it's easy to get to the border, and subsequently, to belgrade

Most of the cars here goes only to some parts of Belgrade

got unlawfully declined entry to kosovo, so had to turn around and go to belgrade. easy HH right after the border.

i was going to kosovo, so asked to drop me near the next turn. you can easily go to Belgrade from here though.

a lot of cars, great number of them with Belgrade or Serbian plates going to the border. Also some Romanian or Kosovo. But many cars are full with kids/luggage. I still got a ride tho. Stood exactly at the pump, workers didn't mind. had sign saying "SRB"

Honestly seemed like the best spot for getting out of Belgrade, and the two times I’ve hitched it has worked. Cars are going fast but they’re all going in your direction. The first time I waited four minutes, the second time forty. Neither time were they going far, but as other comments mention get a ride to the tollbooth not far ahead and you’re set.

After a couple of minute a nice guy stopped for me and took me all the way to ustipraća. Not a busy place but the people are warm and helpful. Heading to belgrade

Before that, the guy took me to a place a couple of kilometers away where there's a toll road with a fork to Belgrade and Niš. I had to walk to that place. It's unlikely you'll end up here, but it's a good location. I found a car right to Niš, which is where I needed to go.

I think this is quite a good spot to get out of belgrade north. Held a novi sad sign and got a ride like in 30 mins. Ofc there is two lanes so a lot of times trucks are blocking for cars to stop but there is no space on ramp to stop and here cars go slowly and there is plenty space to stop for people going up the highway.

Low traffic gas station and cars are often full but almost all of them go to Serbia and to Belgrade. You can find a car that is not full. Ask around with Serbian words to be polite and don't use a board. I had actually made some old Serbian friends that wanted to help me find an empty car lol. Thanks Milica and Zora!

was standing with a sign “Belgrade” and after 15 minutes got a ride to Kalotina (Serbian border) Route 80 restaurant & motel looks so cool btw
