Quite a nice spot aldo you had to wait a little. Got lucky with ride to Cacak aldo if I wanted I could have gone all the way to Belgrade but as I was going to Sarajevo I got off at Cacak

Not really a good spot but there isn't anything better for Nis direction here. Traffic is bigger for Belgrade direction but disproportion in traffic volume isn't massive in opposition to previous spot. Also you can sleep in forest next to a gas station if you need to

Very small traffic south and almost no one stops but at least police and tool station workers don't care that you are here. Standing on second ramp for Belgrade directions will work much better as they are much more cars going there, I even saw a guy hitchhiking there and he got a lift MUCH faster than me

Standing with a backpack a sign BELGRADE switching to thumb, СРБИJA, БЕОГРАД signs or asking people on gas station I waited 2 hours. Some local guy got picked in 20 min standing on the platform further from the crossroad with just thumb. I tried that and got picked in about an hour by local a truck driver.

There is space to stop for a car but most of traffic turns left right before this spot and those who go further towards but after some waiting I found ride right to the Belgrade city center

Nice place for stopping right after traffic lights. Got quickly ride to Uljma on my way to Belgrade

Good spot, plenty of people going long distance, got a ride to Belgrade from people heading towards Istambul.

I don't recommend hitchhiking southward from either this toll booth or the roundabout before it. Many cars at the roundabout are going to Belgrade, so this toll booth has few cars passing through (about 1 car every 2min). One of the two lanes is for cars with automatic payment so they don't even slow down Walk a little more to the gas station just north of Ćuprija instead

I mean its not a bad spot for Belgrade, but for Sofia there is not many cars going to Pirot, we waited mby 4 hours and then we took a break, became friends with the toll gate staff, got coffee from them, had a proper hour-long cig break and magically at around 9 pm when it was already dark the first car we tried to stop after the break stops and gets us to Pirot, so if I shall give a recommendation, ask for some of that magical coffee stuff theyve got at the gate

Excellent spot if you go north to Niš and Belgrade. Waiting time 5-10-20min.

No trucks here, otherwise ok spot. A Serbian picked us up and lifted to Belgrade. The soda machine takes euros but DOESN'T RETURN. Cars go relatively slow.

We were stopping to Belgrade and NOONE goes to Serbia, everyone is going to Romania. Otherwise good stopping spot. Good spot for spending time, spent the night in a small forest. Free WC.

One male one female, signed Milići in order to head to Zvornik (and ultimately Belgrade). Cars are going kinda fast but they can see you from a distance The most wild hitchhiking experience in my life happened. Two guys driving out from the gas station said they could take us to Milići. Then on the way they said they could do Zvornik too. Eventually they said they could take us all the way to Belgrade -- and they did They're from Serbia themselves (work in BiH?) and were driving a Belgrade car, so I supposed they had family/friends here. But if I understood correctly, they were initially heading back towards Han Pijesak after dropping us off in Milići (already the opposite direction of where they were going) They treated us to snacks and drinks along the way and played cool music. The only unsettling thing was both of them each drank about 5 bottles of beer the whole way. I suppose they drink and drive often, and we arrived in Belgrade safely, but it could've not been the case

One male one female, signed Vlasenica (ultimate goal Zvornik/Belgrade). Cars are going kinda fast but they can see you from afar due to the angle of the road. No shade One local guy from Vlasenica picked us up. Speaks insanely good English, and gave us a bottle of Rakija and took us to Motel M in Vlasenica, a great restaurant for ćevapi and pljeskavica

One male one female, signed Sokolac and a guy headed towards Han Pijesak took us. This gas station might not have shade but has plenty of pull off space and cars can see you clearly Direction Zvornik/Belgrade

Not the best spot. Its not much traffic and I think most people are scared to give you a ride because of the border. We asked a lot of people but most of the cars were full. In the end we found a nice family from Germany who brought us over the border and even took a detour to bring us the Belgrade.

Literally waited for 1,5 minutes. A good spot to leave Belgrade in my opinion.

9 pm, solo male, second car I asked took me to belgrade. free beer and croissant. god bless Serbs. busy gas station.
