Really bad spot, no space to ask people and although they have space to stop, no one cares about you. If you're going to Bratislava you might be able to get a ride but if you're trying to get back onto the highway like us, it wont work. Slovaks don't take the highway to Bratislava. We had to walk to the supermarket and get a ride to the airport to escape

Really difficult place to go to Hungary, there is like 95% of locals and 5% that goes to Bratislava (we could go there 2 times). We took just a lift to the airport and see what happens.

We were asking people, got ride to Bratislava quickly

Wanted to go to Bratislava. I got dropped off at some gas station on the highway.

Good for getting rides in Vienna/Bratislava direction space to stop and traffic not moving too fast. I stood a little before the bridge to be more visible and so there’s more space to stop. But under would be good for rain.

Lot of traffic in direction Wien/Bratislava. Also lot of trucks. I asked around and was successful at the end. I wouldn't stand by the exit to highway, there's not a lot of space for cars to stop.

Travelling from Prague, got picked up with the Brno sign but the driver was going farther to Bratislava so i got down there.

Probably very good spot for finding rides to Vienna or maybe even further. We got a ride to Bratislava after a long time, but we got lucky.

Perfect spot for finding a ride. We just stood with signs right in front of the exit from the parking. Really good for Vienna/Bratislava/Győr direction. We got a very funny ride. The story is not shareable for safety and legal reasons, but it would make a good chapter in traveling book.

After 2 hours of waiting in the sun I was finally picked up to Bratislava, not a good place but I guess there are no other options

you have a billboard you can stand in front of for shade. also people can easily stop for you at the gas station. there are many people and also most are driving in the direction of bratislava.

30 minutes to Bratislava

We were 2 guys, the spot positionally not ideal, but cars can still stop there and we managed to get directly to Wien. I think best spot from Bratislava to Wien or at least some gas station on the highway.

bad than I expect. planned to go to Rumania. moved here from bratislava. took bus to nearest spot eat from here and walked 30mns was good hiking but you have to break into highway side bush 300m. one man took just crossed border to hungary than we got on in 10mns.

we had luck, just going to better stopping place on the south from Bratislava.

Decent spot to go to Hungary or bratislava

Probably the best spot for hitchhiking from Budapest towards Vienna/Bratislava/Prague, you have to take a train from Budapest city centre and then a 3 km walk to get here though. Used thumbs up and sign Wien/Bratislava, snatched a ride after like 90 minutes (2 people), a single seat ride was offered to us after like 30 minutes.
