i needed to go to maribor direction, asked one guy and he said no then i saw a lady with MB plate. she was hesitant but she agreed

not a lot of cars, most of them are packed to the brill. Idk I was not lucky or if the spot suck. Finally got a ride to Jesenice Gas Station (which was not better...) I would say avoid the zone (go trough Maribor)

Not really a hitchhiking spot. I got dropped off here by my driver from Ljubljana. She then called her brother, who lives in Maribor and has experience hitchhiking, to take me to a good hitchhiking spot.

Good place to go towards Maribor. It is a bus stop so there is a lot of space to pull over. Cars are not going fast because it's right after a roundabout.

We had luck and a truck driver took us to Maribor

Dead spot on the way to Ljubljana. I waited for over 90 minutes. Next time, I would take a bus to Maribor Titova-Nasypna (4€). Don't waste your time like I did

Waited there for 5 hours to go to Maribor until I gave up. To be fair it was a saturday and my sign might not have been big enough but still...

Really nice spot, cars going to Maribor are in right lane. I was hh in early morning so the traffic was really chill.

Got offered ride by 2 different cars. I went with the guy who was going more south so I went to Maribor

honestly, I hate it. if you ask around the McDonald's - you lose truck traffic and mcdrive. if you hold mcdonalds lane, 80% of the cars turn left to Maribor and you are just wasting energy. standing at the exit towards Zagreb/Ljubljana and no one stops. not even asks. I may have been EXTREMELY unlucky, but something is off here.

With a sign to lublyana went to maribor. Possibility for Budapest and Romania randomly.

A lot of people from Slovenia work in Austria. We (2) asked a guy with a Slovenian license plate and took us directly to gas station next to Maribor which was good spot for our next ride to Ljubljana.

Nice place, a car take us few km to another gas station (BP) , from where we took a car directly to station on Maribor highway.

Great spot, we have the sign and got the ride all the way to Maribor. There is good place to stop and also shopping center is near.

thumbing didn't seem to work, barely anyone stopped to ask where we were going (2 of us), and they mostly went either to the city or Maribor direction (we were trying for Hungary straight)

Typical highway station and rest place. Mostly trucks taking obligatory breaks. With some patience you can easily get at least to Ljubljana, with some Celje/Maribor or even Austria or Hungary

If you're going to maribor like me, dont be picky, take the first car even if Its going to zagreb centre, And Hop on a train direction zabok, exit at kupljenovo station and walk around 30 minutes to the gas station. I was picky And wanted to go straight to slovenia, but all Cars went to zagreb.

After 2 minutes of waiting with a sign “Vransko” somebody stopped and drove me to Maribor.

Take any ride to the middle of the valley. One guy drove me for 10min and that eliminates 70% of the drivers. Than i got a ride to Maribor in 2 minutes.

We didn't get any cars to Celje or Maribor. If you want to go to Maribor go to the MOL next to Zaloška street.
