Got a ride fairly quick, there's enough space for cars to pull off but barely. Gotta be ready to jump in quick. Overall hitchhiking in and around Cuenca seems to work a lot better than the rest of Spain.

Amazing Cuenca people, lots of drivers stopping and asking if they could help me. "Dirección Teruel" sign. There's just one road towards Teruel with some local traffic, so good thing to just try to reach next town.

Bad spot, tried to go Cuenca, sign of Cuenca and then Belmonte, but no traffic, walked down to town and changed route.

Bad town to hitchhike, i walked around a lot, changed spots a few times and didn't find a good one towards Cuenca or this direction. Ended up walking next town and sleeping in my hammock in a forest in between. I tried to go east towards Campo de Criptana, but maybe a better route to Cuenca was north to Quintanar de la orden.

I got here from Cuenca and directly got a ride continuing to the north. I'D NOT RECOMMEND waiting in the city! Because there is one road around the city and one through it - so here you'll catch all of the cars! It's uphill, so they drive slowly. Same for going south - get dropped of after the roades merge again!

It's a bypass way of Cuenca. You can get here easily from the city center (30 minutes walking). Despite most of the traffic is local, you can get a lift closer to the exit out of the city. Interregional trucks are passing by as well.

A bit further after turn to Guayaquil there is enough space on the side of the road to stop cars. Traffic is average. But I got a left right to Cuenca by Taxi driver in half an hour.

We were 2 (girl and boy), the girl spoke spanish, so we asked the drivers. We headed to Cuenca. Our driver was third driver we asked and took us to Tarancón.

Good spot with a round and a petrol station. So you can go into the A3 or north to Cuenca and any others small villages.

Small petrol station on way to Valencia or Cuenca. Cars heading this direction stops there. Really easy-reachable by metro, you just have to pay 2 euros by the exit because it is outter zone.
