It is great place, because its the main road, and enough space for cars to stop. We were going to Lugo and get lifted in 5 minutes, maybe lucky but fine.rating: 5/5, wait: 5 min, ride: 62 km →

Direction to Lugo. There are trees, so there is shadow. Also there are some bus shelter along the road in case of rain. Average traffic.―Anonymous, July 2016

Direction to Lugo. There is not shadow or some roof to hide. Considering the place high traffic. Not a good spot for long distance but it's good if you want to go Villalba or nearby.―Anonymous, July 2016

Direction to Lugo. I spent 1 hour until someone catch me. There is not shadow or some roof to hide. It was after Ortigueira's festival so it was easier that someone stopped. I don't think that the point was good if the festival is not taking place.―Pabloml, July 2016

For Lugo/Ribadeo. Plenty of place to stand at side of the road, traffic slow. Use sign and hope you're lucky. I was. Got a lift after 15minutes as night-time aproached. Expect to converse with driver about how nobody stops for hitchhikers.―Anonymous, December 2011

A small parking space at the roundabout makes the otherwise uncomfortable place a good one to get out of Santiago. Write "A Coruna" on a sign, every car goes there. Then you can get off at the highway gas station to change direction for Lugo/Leon or the coatal highway―Anonymous, September 2011
