People have some space to stop here, further they don't, but it's not really a good spot, we waited more than two hours with a sign, to get a ride to Zaragoza. I don't think there is a much better spot for Zaragoza from Pamplona though.

I may had luck. 8min waiting time. It was 15:00 not really busy. He directly took me to Pamplona. Had to take the train to Meco to leave Madrid. Luckily got a ride from the train station to the gas station

Bad experience at noon on a Wednesday. We were traveling to Pamplona and it took us (2 males) more than an hour to get a ride even to the next village. Most of the cars accelerate before the highway so I reckon that many find it hard to stop. Never tried the gas station nearby but it might be a better option.

Good place to catch a long distance ride with cars heading all the way to Madrid or Pamplona. There is quite a bit of truck traffic too. This area also has a very decent and cheap buffet (€8/person as of July 2023), so a lot of people driving from Barcelona stop here. This is a local spot and there aren’t many foreigners, so knowing Spanish or Catalan is important. The best strategy is to talk to people at the gas station but standing with a sign on a ramp leading to the highway works too.

As a driver, I pass by the place every time I go to Pamplona. I think it is a good spot both to Pamplona or to France (Biarritz, Bayonne, etc...)

We got dropped here by someone when hitchhiking from Pamplona to Logrono - not a very good place, a lot of local cars going in other directions but at least they're slow and there's space to stop

Most probably we just had pure luck, but we (1 girl+1guy) hitched a direct ride to Bilbao from here, holding a sign "Pamplona". The traffic is very small but there are quite a lot of tourists in this area, therefore it can work. Worst case, the scenery is beautiful! :)

Towards Pamplona it should be a good spot, people going on A-23 or A-132 should come this way towards Pamplona. Me and a friend of mine (1 girl+1guy) were hitchhiking here for 6 hours, because the police officers wanted to checkout the drivers the same morning we wanted to get out of here, and noone stopped because of this. After the officers disappeared, we hitched a ride within 30 minutes.

If you want to go the way to Pamplona, this is the best spot. (its behind the bus/train station)
Cars are slowing down speed coz of the trafic lights.
Its really much better to hold a sign writen ur direction in Spanish!!!

Waited by the road on the industrial district. An hour of walking from the center of Logrono. Got a ride to Pamplona after about 15 mins.

Here you can find a couple of gas stations that people use before going to: Pamplona, Bilbao, San Sebastián or even France.
