Got a ride, from Marc and Eve, that initially should have just taken me to Salamanca but ended up taking me all the way to Seville on my way to Morocco. Good spot honestly.rating: 5/5, wait: 20 min, ride: 579 km ↓

Failing to get a ride in Valladolid, I walked to Simancas, and there, just walking in the street, met Samuel who gave me a ride to Tordesillas. From there quickly got a ride south to Seville.rating: 5/5, wait: 15 min, ride: 22 km ↙

Best petrol station to go to the north or south! Huge amount of trucks and cars. A lot of morrocans going south so you might be able to catch a ride with them. You can get here from seville by bus.rating: 5/5, wait: 60 min, ride: 169 km ↑

In my opinion, is not a good place but is the only place close to the Seville for go to Huelva/Portugal. Is a trafficlight and is better if you can ask for go up to the cars. Two Couchsurfers friends weren't more than 15 min.

worst spot ever, no room to pull over, we were going to seville, counted at least 20 spanish cars in 2 hours waiting, but none stopped. Rainy and windy, shitty weather and no empathetic people.―Anonymous, September 2015

Bad spot, there is no room to pull over, you should get out of town first, after 30 minutes a young woman knew it was going to be hard for us to get out of seville so she drove us out for 20 kms. The gas station is even worse, not many cars, and most of them go to ikea.―Ars Libera, September 2015

Very good place, but we were lucky as well, found a ride after 5 minutes, two moraccan friends took us to Seville.―Anonymous, September 2015

Coming from Morocco, you can feel it instantly, it's another pair of shoes! We waited here for an hour to go north to Seville, but fortunately a guy stopped and suggested another spot. This spot is not good at all, lot of traffic, but no eye-contact, no one really cares about hitchhikers here, plus we totally missed the place.―Anonymous, September 2015

We were offered a lift to Seville in 5 minutes by someone who was being picked up from here, but we were heading to Malaga so we waited about an hour before someone took us to a petrol station near Lucena.―Truffula, April 2014

Have been here for over 12 hours. Getting lifts to Almeria are frequent but not many lorrys/cars head to Granada and it is impossible to get as far as Seville in one lift. we are a group of 3, however single travellers aiming for Granada will have more success as Spanish lorry drivers don't take the safety risk of no seats for passengers―Anonymous, June 2013

The best spot in this region to start a mid-long trip in many different directions: Portugal, north of Spain, Seville or Madrid. If you are in the city, you can do all the way to the spot walking. It won't be more than 5 km. But if you aren't on the mood, you can take the bus. Buses 7 and 8 lead to "Avenida de pitagoras". Then go to the west and ask for the path "Calle del Palo" (it isn't on this map, but it exist). At the end of this way you can find two big petrol stations where you can ask for any direction.―Anonymous, December 2012
