Guy took me to a good spot in Malmö to go north. Recommended spot to go to Sweden.

Stay at the bus station Infront of the red lights, good spot, tried the other ones, but the cars went to fast or not the right direction. I drove to Malmö, I used a sign E6 South.

A guy and a girl without a sign on a Thursday at noon. Seems to be a very good spot to go to Sweden. We wanted to go to Oslo, but we accepted the first ride that took us East of Malmö. We should have waited a bit longer to go further north though, as there must be a lot of people going everywhere in Sweden that pass through here, and Sweden is hard to hitchhike...

Big rest area with a petrol station, toilets, and options to camp. Good for getting a ride to Malmö or Denmark. At the petrol station you can charge your phone and sit.

Good spot, but still had to wait an hour. Maybe that was because I had a sign "Göteborg" and not so many people go in that direction? I don't know. Anyway I was taken to a gas station along the highway a bit before Helsingborg, as I've read here to avoid rides to Malmö, but not so many people up there and I had to wait about 2h.

Really good spot to get to Malmö

Sunday early morning. Super low traffic. I spent about 2 hour asking drivers at a gas station/McDonald. Only locals comming for breakfast or people heading north. Even several truck drivers were heading only north. So I moved to this on ramp spot with a sign saying SOUTH. There is a bus station, lot of space, very nice spot. After about 45 minutes (still ultimately low traffic) I almost gave up. Saying to myself: 5 more cars and off I go. Fifth car, a truck, pulled over. Adam took me all the way to Malmö. With a break at warehouse where he let me help unloading his truck with a forklift :D. We had a great conversation. My best HH ride so far.

Ask two campers to take me to Sweden. Second camper took me and drove til after malmö. On a Saturday afternoon.

August, Southbound, 10AM First car offered me a ride to Malmö, second car took me to Copenhagen. There is a really nice camping spot 30 minutes from here. Walk across the bridge, and hop the fence at the gasstation on the other side of the highway. There is a little trail that you can follow for +-20 minutes, which brings you to a little forest near some houses, right next to lake Råsjö. Awesome

Very good spot, lot of passage going to Malmö. Go under the bridge there is a spot for cars to stop.

We got super lucky, tried to catch a ride to Malmö at 8 am on a Saturday and we succeeded after about 10 minutes. It's a difficult spot to hitchhike from, there aren't many cars going as there's also not many flights on the airport. Nevertheless, we managed to get a ride from a Polish couple picking up a friend from the airport.

2023 and spot is still great for Malmö. Got a ride in about 5 minutes.
