Asked at petrol station to go to Stockholm, many people told us they were going north. There was A LOT of traffic (Sunday at lunch), not just the station but also with the MacDonald,... Got a ride to Stockholm in less than 20 minutes.

We were going to Stockholm with a sign, got a ride to Uppsala in less than 20 minutes. Not that much space but enough for a car to stop if driver is comfortable, we were standing before the exit.

Tried to go to Stockholm with a sign, if you want to stay safe and not make cars stop dangerously you only get the cars coming from the south and it was not a lot of traffic (Sunday), we ended up walking to the roundabout.

really nice spot to get out of uppsala i got taken to ‘vundsvall’ after a hour but that was worth it !!! (i got a sign) full place on the bus stop to place yourself i fully recommend it (++ if u were at stockholm before and u want to go north) tips : cars for stockholm are on right side and cars for the north are mostly in the center of the road, but try both it will work good luck 😌

i think i am the first guy hitchhiking from that city ahahahah definitely a good spot but no fucking trafic on a sunday morning i was trying to get to stockholm (with a sign) and idk which god send me that guy going directly there after 20 min ahahah so randomly i got took to stockholm (4h driving) but most of the cars were getting on that direction so maybe u can find a drive on the road (like karlstad or orebro) good luck i hope it’s gonna be really good for u too !!! 🤠🤠🤠

good spot for Uppsala or Stockholm

lonnnnng spot ahahah a lot of traffic but not that much of ppl going to sweden (like stockholm) if ur trying to get to stockholm you’ll have to be very patient, most of the people take the train or plane to get there hopefully a guy arrived 2h after under rain and dropped me to arjang (100km from oslo) good luck but the spot if perfect, a lot of space for cars to stop 😺

Not the best spot as cars go pretty fast even tho there is a speed camera. And visibility is pretty shit. But a guy from Canada who was driving for Nordkapp to Stockholm nonstop took me to Tore. Sadly I wasnt going to Stockholm :///. But a bit of strange guy just casually doing 20 hour of driving.

It is probably a very good spot to get from south from Stockholm if you are alone. But there were very few going far with enough space for 2 guys.

Good visibility for drivers and a good place for them to stop. Got a ride straight to the city centre of Stockholm

Did it like 8pm in July, so not alot of space for cars to stop but wasnt too busy. Stand by the Stockholm sign.

Busy gas station, should be no problem getting to Örebro and probably easy to get to Stockholm

Long wait because Swedes dont pick you up, but eventually we got a ride with a danish guy all the way to Stockholm. He was going to a horse race so we joined him and got beer and wine too!

Me and my friend (2m) caught a ride far north from here. Many trucks passing by. Ideal for following the E4 direction Stockholm.

One male 40+, with a sign "Stockholm", one big and one small backpacks, rainy day. A bus stop, good visibility and enough space even for a lorry to stop. Not very busy road, a few cars per minut. I waited only 20 minutes. The fact that I was wearing a t-shirt with a big Polish emblem helped me loooads. The lorry driver who stopy was Polish. He took me to the border, where I quicky got a ride from an anothy Polish truck driver to Stockholm. I'm not sure how long I'd have to wait if I didn't have the t-shirt. The place is a bit far from the Oslo centre, but about half an hour walk is a decent size park-forest where I pitched a tent for a night.

I just stopped and I was about to take the sign out from my backpack, whe first lorry leaving the custom car park stopped and took me all the way to Stockholm.
