great. Barely enough space to stop. But I'm not sure there is a better option. I was extremely lucky and got a ride to Stockholm in 5min. Yes I'm flexing 😎

Me and my friend (2m) caught a ride far north from here. Many trucks passing by. Ideal for following the E4 direction Stockholm.

One male 40+, with a sign "Stockholm", one big and one small backpacks, rainy day. A bus stop, good visibility and enough space even for a lorry to stop. Not very busy road, a few cars per minut. I waited only 20 minutes. The fact that I was wearing a t-shirt with a big Polish emblem helped me loooads. The lorry driver who stopy was Polish. He took me to the border, where I quicky got a ride from an anothy Polish truck driver to Stockholm. I'm not sure how long I'd have to wait if I didn't have the t-shirt. The place is a bit far from the Oslo centre, but about half an hour walk is a decent size park-forest where I pitched a tent for a night.

Good location to catch southbound traffic, but not great for waiting as it is the entrance of the highway. It's still easy for cars to stop but I wasn't very comfortable with the location. A couple people stopped for us but we're not going very far. We had a sign that said "south", but when we changed it to "Stockholm", someone stopped immediately and could take us most of the way there.

As previously noted, not amazing but probably the best spot to go south. We asked around at the gas station for a little while with little success. Many people were just staying in the area or even going north. Eventually it's while standing by the roundabout that a car stopped for us, they were going straight to Stockholm.

Easy ride to Stockholm, lots of traffic around noon

Don't let drivers drop you off here... No cars at all, specially not going towards Stockholm. Miscommunication with driver lead to his. I ended up having to ho up the highway and hitchhike in the off-ramp. Would not recommend, cars very fast, illegal.

Space to stop in the roundabout just before the exit for Stockholm. Easy to catch local rides, not good for going far.

Best place to be. Church member from Stockholm who visited Örebro and was willing to take me back.

Traffik very low due to day after Midsommar, roughly one car every two minutes. Was plenty of space to stop, but most (interesting) traffik went north. Don't think it's worthwhile, because even on busy days, this place might become too dangerously crowded. Also, sadly there ain't a point where just Stockholm traffik passes, so many cars aren't even in your interest anyways.

Mostly friendly people, especially the truck drivers were very kind. Little traffik that day, took some huge pauses inbetween, tho seems like a good spot easily reachable from Stockholm. Hitchhiked to Avesta, but realised Enköping was a more reasonable intermediate destination. I believe just a guy going to work.

Many cars heading towards Stockholm. If you want to take a route other than to Stockholm, it is very hard to find a ride.

Highly recommending this spot. Everyone goes towards Stockholm from this roundabout and there’s easily time and room to stop your car. It’s 9 o’clock so there’s lots of work traffic.

Waited pretty long with no shade -sunny day- but got a ride all the way to Göteborg! I was going to Stockholm and could have gone to Gävle with my ride, but changed my plans to going to Göteborg when I found out he could drive me all the way there :) Many people heading South. If you have the guts to ask for a ride and don't mind being turned down, you'll probably get a ride sooner. Also a truck rest area so long ride garanteed if you want to go with a truck.

Nice ramp on the E22 road. Enough place for cars to stay. I got a short lift towards Bergkvara on my way to Stockholm

Much traffic going north (Sweden, Denmark, Norway). I was going back to Norway, asked a Norwegian driver, but his car was full. Then after 10 minutes a girl with a small dog came to me and asked me "Hi, What is your story?". Hehe then she asked me if I had a driving licence and if I drank alcohol that day. So she was going to Gøteborg and then to Stockholm. She asked me if I would like to join her and help her driving to Copenhagen. So I became her driver that day and did it to Copenhagen. At that gas station you should even use "Oslo" sign :))) it is what I exactly did - I had 3 signs, i.e. Bremen, Hamburg, Oslo.

Thumbing traffic exiting the gas station. Reasonable amount of traffic. Nowhere to pull over but that’s ok. German camper van stopped, going all the way to Stockholm!! English speaking driver. Solo male.
