2 AM. Good lighting. Few cars obviously. 95% VD cars. Bern sign. Someone took me to Fribourg. Traffic lights, several lanes so you know where cars are going, not much space but at night it's no problem to stop in the middle of the road. Difficult to cross the language border. I can imagine this spot much better and crowded during the day.

Was here at night with Bern sign. As always in Switzerland, few cars at night. Got to Lausanne eventually.

At night almost no traffic towards Bern. Within 1 hour, 5 cars enterred the highway. Luckily the 6th one picked me up. I think the spot itself is good, but at night nobody just goes this way. Was standing with sign at the roundabout triangle to catch cars from all roads that could go my way. Well lit as always in Switzerland

Stood with a sign Bern/Lausenne on a Saturday, really few cars with matching license plate passed and they all acted as I was invisible. Maybe asking directly or chosing another spot works but this was a really unlucky/annoying wait.

Good spot, we were waiting in that bus area kind of thing, two girls with a "Bern" sign, got a ride in 35-40 minutes directly to Bern

Stood with a sign saying Interlaken. After 10 minutes a car took us to Thun. Really Good spot for catching a ride out of bern. There are two car stopping places in the grass, but be sure to stay far in front of them. Also you have to stick out of the trees to catch a ride.

Literally the second person that we asked to go to Bern took us, there is a lot of cars

Number plates in CH begin with the two letters representing the Canton the car is from. As I was going to Bern, I flagged down the first BE plate I saw and got an easy ride.

Really bad spot to take back the highway towards Bern. I had to walk and took a car that brought me at an entrance of highway in the 'ext village

Scatchi place bcs riders dont get a view (I had sing wit Bern on it) but after cca 15 minits somon stoped me safely

It was raining when my sister and I tired, I told myself I would give up when my cardboard sign to Bern disintegrated. It took 40 mins some lovely old man brought us an umbrella. Caught an expensive train instead :/ good luck peeps !!

On our way back we wanted to get to Freiburg Germany, after 1 Hour only 1 German car drove by, most germans get fuel right behind the border i guess. Eventually we got a ride to airport Basel where we didnt even have to wait 5 Minutes to get to Freiburg.
