Police want let you walk across this bridge. Because most of the traffic are Ukrainians transiting true this small part of Moldova to other part Odessa oblast and this border zone has some special regulations due to high risk of people escaping mobilization and this may lead to some problems. If you aren't shy there is an opportunity to hitchhike this border as every 30 minutes or something que forms before this bridge and then you can ask cars with Moldovan plates will they take you across. As I'm in fact shy I after thinking for a while what to do decided to take a bus across and as price was the same for close distance and got going to chisinau airport I decided to go over there as there is a forest right next to it which I already camped once and first bus that I could buy ticket online was quite late in the evening (there is no real bus station in that town)

Had to wait a little but i found ride to Odessa. Map is little bit inaccurate and right after this spot(south) there is another gas station but I don't recommend standing near it as they are 2 small dogs that are very unfriendly towards hitchhikers. You should stay at the spot I marked, it's not ideal but it works and nobody will have problem with you standing there

Lots of traffic on Rt 1 but Delaware residents are a little shy. Thumbed a Tesla to Odessa.

Good place near airport with plenty of room for cars to pull in. Odessa or Tiraspol.

Place to hitchhike to Odessa direction. You can arrive hire by autobus #3 up to the last stop (Varvarovka direction).

After visiting Transnistria, you can get to Odessa from here. Exactly after the border. In 5 min we had a car (2 pers)

To Odessa, Bender, Tiraspol, Causeni. You can get here using a bus Nr.122, trolley Nr.22, 18 . Bus stop PORTILE ORASULUI. A lot of cars, but almoust no trucks, because for them tranzit through Chisinau is not existing anymore.

direction: Odessa, If you find your bus ride from Tiraspol leaves you at the border (which is comman if your western) you can get a ride anyware along the road

if you don't want to cross transnistria toward Odessa hitchike here and you can easily find a car. probbaly they ask some money
