There is some place for cars to stop, good spot for going Greece, but i dont suggest, i did mistake with it.

nice if you stand before the roundabout so people can read your sign while driving slowly and have time to pull over at the gas station

There are still road constructions and place is a little bit dangerous. I couldn't stay in this exact spot from the map due to some concrete barriers and I was maybe 50m closer to roundabout on the ramp. I was thumbing only the cars from this ramp, it was impossible to try with these from main road. I think it was about 5th or 6th car which took me, so worth to go there anyway.

Perfect spot, everything is great and you will not stay there for long time. For me it was 2nd car.

It was arranged ride for me, my previous driver called his friend and asked to take me to Gjakovë and he waited for us there. But for my look it should be good spot anyway.

First car stopped, that's how it works in this region. My driver called his friend, who often rides to Kosovo. It turned out that he is leaving right now, he waited for us and I just changed the cars. Amazing, super helpful people.

It was madness. Due to low level of water my ferry stopped at this steep gravel road. Buses and cars had quite difficult experience with going up to the road. People from the ferry climbed to road by foot and waited for their buses which were stuck at the river. Since I hadn't got organised transport with ferry guys, obviously I hoped for some opportunity to hitchhike. While everyone was waiting, suddenly one local car showed up from nearby village. I thumbed and of course he stopped and took me. Absolute chaotic.

I was walking towards ferry, and czechs with campervan stopped and gave me a lift.

Likely you will be asked for money by some drivers or tourists mini buses, but it's also possible to hitchhike to Koman. I was taken by camping owner from Koman - Marco, great man. He asked me for coffee and raki in nice place on the way. Since most people here are living off tourism, of course I stayed in a tent at Marco's camping and he charged me for that... 2 euro. I paid normal price in his restaurant at least. So I advise to reject paid transport offers, but if you are taken by someone, it will be good to use their tourist business if they have one.

Not a lot of people want to stop. Got a ride about 20 mins down the road and the guy ended up buying me a bus ticket to Elbasan

5/5 star for me but I am giving 4 stars because I think I got lucky. Picked up very quickly for a ride to Tiranë but the traffic is going fast so you might be stuck for a while. Make sure to hitch far enough ahead that fast cars can pull in behind you before the ramps. Boy + girl with Tiranë sign

terrible. perfect conditions to be taken to albanian border, bus stop where cars can easily stop, a lot of traffic. waited over 3 hours, nobody stopped people were just laughing at me. then my water bottle was empty and i gave up. would recommend to take the bus until kakavi (border). once in albania found a ride in 10minutes.

Tried with sign that said Albania, but few cars from albania were passing, wrote struga and had a ride in like 5 minutes. If you want to go to Albania definitely go from Struga, you’ll save yourself time.

There is no space for a car to stop but it's Albania so who cares. The car was going to Kosovo. I was heading to Valbona via Bairam Curri. The driver said that the majority of cars go there via Kosovo nowadays. I couldn't go there so had to stick to the old road.

Good spot to Albania lots of Albanians cars going shopping here. We asked one albanian Guy and he took us to Albania

The customs people are nice! Even in summer traffic is quite low. We were lucky to find a couple coming back from vacation in Albania!

I don’t know if we got lucky or this spot is perfect. EVERY car that passes here goes to Albania and not even 3 minutes passed until we got a ride. Originally we wanted to go to Shköder but an Ukrainian guy was on his way to Tiranë so he took us with him. We were 2 guys, not even a sign in our hands. (No shadows tho)

2 Boys, we wanted to go to Albania and waited 20 minutes. We got a ride by a funny old guy to Krute Krythë.

This spot is great in general. We wanted to go to Albania but nobody stopped. The moment we wrote down Ulcinj we got a ride. So maybe go to Ulcinj first if you want to go to Albania.

2 male friends, waited about 45 minutes until a Croatian picked us up to the border. Seems like a good place to HH with a lot of traffic to Albania. Maybe we were unlucky. Still good tho.

After being dropped at the border we arrived here at dusk after a full day of hitching from Bosnia. We got a ride with two Turkish dudes who took all four of us in the back. Great guys but after 10 minutes we got stopped by some shady policeman who thought that we were being snuggled. They were a bit upset but after a couple of minutes they found out that the drivers boss knew one of the officers. 5 min later the boss showed up and cleared the air. After continuing the driver told us he played the police a 20 euro bribe to continue. Crazy entrance into Albania but oh well at least we weren't arrested. Great driver also he dropped us off at the campsite in skoder. Shoutout to that dude.

Guys! It's the most picturesque view you can get in Albania! I walked here for 30 minutes and it was truly worth it! This gas station is abandoned, so you can do urban exploring and it has a lot of place to stop with slow traffic. Got a ride to Macedonia by very easily.

Chill spot. That's a place from where a lot of Albanian workers go home. Traffic goes slow. Some drivers ask for money, but I just ignored them or said that no money, but they were persistent on will to get money from me. After just 15-20 minutes a nice guy from Albania with his father agreed to drive me to Skoder. Easy
