It's a highway spot, but it has plenty of space on the side of it for cars to stop. A lot of traffic and drivers can see you from far. Got a ride to the city center of Pafos very quickly

Hitchhiking in Cyprus is extremely nice. Very good spot to leave Limassol in Pafos direction. It's after small fence. A lot of traffic and people turn to the highway so they go quite slow. There's space for cars to stop at the side of the road. Found a ride in a no time halfway to Pafos

Cars turning to Larnaca are going very slowly, you really have a good chance to hitch to Larnaca. BUT there's no shade, no place to sit, so you're getting fried in the sun.

Not a perfect spot, but this is the only way from St. Hilarion junctino to Nicosia. There are place for cars to stop, but they are driving fast, so you must experiment with the exact location.

We stood just before the highway, behind the guard rail. Big sign saying no stopping / hitching. But... A car stopped before police we saw any police.
There are tunnels to get around the roundabout without playing Frogger in the road.
Hitch towards limmasol / larnaca / lefkosia (Nicosia)

The roundabout is hard for someone to stop in. They could, maybe, but it'd be dangerous and no one seemed to stop there. Also, not great luck at the gas station 6min walk from there.
If all else fails, there is a bus stop about 5min walk from the gas station with intercity busses going every hour or so. Between 4-8 euro, depending on which city.

At the entrance of the highway direction to Larnaca in that case (cross the bridge for another direction). Just before the entrance there is a oil station but facing agia napa, and a bus stop and a lot of space to stop, but my experience is better when I hit my feet into the exit road. Cars from highway they are too fast but there is small chance to them to stop. If you are in Agia Napa you can walk here, but Iit will take some time, you can hitchike around the road in any bus stop, it work fine for me. Bus stop closer is from Nissi avenue, 101 or 102 is and example.

Just wait at the exit of the roundabout to get a lift probably Limassol, some village on the way, or just the next roundabout of the airport. Is worthy, from there you can hitchike again.

To get there you can hitchhike from the city asking to take you out, never tried in Larnaca but in Nicosia works well. Or manage to arrive the closest bus stop 'Acropoleos Avenue 1' numbers 417 ,454 409,415

The highway goes under the roundabout, so is hard tog et that kind of cars, but all cars which go through the roundabout will go more slowly.

I sued mostly to go Agia Napa, never more than 10 minutes waiting. Is the entrance of the highway so go careful when walking. On that side of the road, at left after some big plants which hide the cars view, there is some margin on the road enough for a car who wants to stop to do it.

You can wait there having some space of visibility, or stay in the intersection of the cats who came from the roundabout or directly from Nicosia road, the cars from round about they are really slow but they can't really stop.

Good point for Boat hitching. It is a crossing point between East Mediteranean and Turkey/Cyprus/Middle Orient
Follow the signs : "Marina/λημανι" and you can ask for a ride to the sailor. You can wait some days depending on the period of the year
