This is the best stop to get to Andorra if you dont want to wait for over expensiv bus that goes there. After some while some people from Andorra gave me a ride

It is in middle of nowhere. Dont realy remember where it was but a lot of vine farms and good spot to stop. Thanks to my luck I got out of there erly

It has a lot of space to stop ans you are visibal. But not much anithing goes there other from the locals. I wanted go tk Foix. The guy I stoped didnt speak same language as me so in the end he throw me out in nowhere xd

Aire indiquée "fermée" à l'entrée alors que non... Donc pas énormément de monde. Pas mal de départs vers le sud. On a fini par trouver quelqu'un pour nous avancer vers l'Auvergne.

Pas mal de personnes en direction d'Annecy/Aix. On a fini par trouver vere Lyon !

Not the easiest Peage in France, we were two hitch hikers each standing 4 bords between someone saw and stopped after Peage

Very shitty place for car to stop when you are standing at the highway entrence but still doable. I was extremely lucky with getting a lift so fast. In terms of getting here from the town, when you get to road connecting truck stop on petrol station for going north with roads outside of it next to a bridge over highway you need to walk on small path in to the forest that's going right next to the fence. Then after like 20 meters or something you will find small hole in fence wide enough to get into service station through it. It will be marked by log penetrating the fence (that probably was used for creation of it). Then there is a safe underpass next to a petrol station itself that you can use if you are going towards France

Big station lots of traffic and a McDonald's, full with families today because vacation but also lots of trucks going to France and Spain. I waited at the end because it was too much for asking, but I'm sure it'll get you something faster. Had sign France, rejected a couple of rides to Strasbourg took one to Colmar.

Good to go either north or south towards Switzerland. Had a sign for Freiburg/France. Was a bit early, a bit later in the day I'm sure it gets quite busy.

Got dropped here and went round asking the drivers if they were taking the ferry, with a sign saying France/Belgium. On my second round one agreed to take me with him to Belgium. He was going with Irish ferries and it was no problem to add a passenger, no-one even asked about it. He drove me until 2am, let me sleep in the van, then took me to a further junction the next morning.

Walked here from Hollingbourne station. Heading to Europe, had a sign saying Dover (France). Lots of traffic, quite a few European plates. Did a tour of the truck stop but 15 truck drivers said no, though one offered me to sleep in his cab. I waited opposite the gas station and a couple of cars offered me lifts (to Gatwick, Dover). Could be worth waiting for a lift onto the ferry, but after a while I took one to Dover.

If there is no other cars ocuping bridg stop it is great otherwise you dont get that much space. After a while two french women stoped me to my Monaco sing and give me a lift to france border

A lot of cars coming through and they can pull over at the bus stop. It was on the day the Tour de France is in the area so a lot of cars were full. But a women still took close to Le Bourg d‘Oisans. We used an Alpe d‘huez sign but when the tour isn’t there other signs may be better

There is good traffic going south and cars can pull over on the huge gravel area. We waited an hour until a woman took us to briancon. Used France sign

Good traffic coming through. Cars can stop at the small road going to the train tracks. We used a Susa sign and didn’t have to wait long until a brought us even further to France. We had were stopped by the police midway through but they were chillig

Good traffic if before the onramp, enough space for cars to pull over. Had a France sign and we wanted to go on the highway but a guy took us to the next town along the ss 24.

I waited long, but think i was unlucky. Loads of traffic to belgium and france, very little to where i actually wanted to go: netherlands...

Couple hitchhiking. We caught a ride with a wonderful Ukrainian truck driver to northern France with a sign saying Belgium. Many families with very little space in their cars and many heading to Achen. Bit tiresome.

Cars are going fast but has a lot of place to stop. Good to France and Luxembourg.

We had two signs one for Basel and other one for France, we wanted to travel to Bordeaux. I think it's a great spot to got to Switzerland. Two males.

A lot of traffic, but many full foreign cars, nobody was going in the direction to France. I stayed at the exit from the gas station with a sign and my friend was asking people around. Maybe we were just unlucky.

We arrived there at 8 pm and tried for a hour and half, then we gave up, it was dark and super low traffic. In the morning we tried again with better luck. Not an ideal spot for direction to France.

It is illegal as all péages in France, but it got me a ride pretty fast to Frejus with a sign Cannes :)
