was good to me, went to bregenz past lindau and Memmingen, other people were going to kempten and tyrol, I got one of those lifts that just make you happy with life

early morning took a bit but ended up getting a lift past würzburg and ulm, lots of people going nürnberg munich, someone even to Graz

Waited here, the McDonald's and the other gas station as well as right by the road for over 5 hours in the rain, asked loads of people this whole area sucks nobody gave me the time of day. There was a plug socket outside this station though and free wifi.

had a sign 'a3 süd' plenty cars on weekend morning, can take a tram out here from Bonn, little parking strip to stop, great spot you're pretty much in the woods

not much traffic in the morning but everyone apologised to me for only going tiny bit up the road, Bonn

just got a super short lift but prolly good for longer lifts down the road as well BUT I'm texting to tell yous there's a free camping thingy here called 'Rheinschlafen' and you can get key from the Arp Museum and it means a roof in rainy nights looking at the rhein

was told that this is how the cool kids hitch to bonn these days, I've missed hitching from a good roundabout

no bus stop here, don't get dropped in silly places kids! cars turning onto motorway here can't rlly stop but I did get offers for dortmund and city centre from the further out lane so love and peace

I think this is a great spot prolly if you wanna hitch small roads or in this direction generally, slow traffic bus stop you get it, me however I only got onto the motorway due to the kindness of someone going out of their way completely

there are traffic lights now! a few standing cars said they were going wrong way til someone brought me all the way to münster, not rakes of traffic in evening and mostly probably not super far

I got a ride to Czechia almost immediately. There is a bus stop to pull over. I think the best sign you can have is "Čr".

A great spot for Marienberg and then Czechia. There is a place to pull over a decent number of cars going through here. I got a ride within a few minutes.

I got dropped off here in the middle of the night, and it was raining, so I was unable to sleep anywhere nearby. As everywhere at this time of day, the traffic was borderline nonexistent. I was looking for a car to a more frequent gas station, but no luck. At half past five, I hit a jackpot, and I found a car going all the way to the Czech border, so I could get some sleep. It was not my lucky spot, but than got super good.

Tried to go to Frankfurt for 2 hours. The people did not wven take us to Wiesbaden. Took a train in the end

Cool gas station for going to Germany (as most gas stations are nearby). I found two guys going all the way to Bamberg within a few minutes.

You might have to wait for a long time, but when you get a ride you will get very far. I held a sign that said "DE" and got a ride all the way to Germany from a trucker.

Idk if this is a best spot in the town but for sure you must go to this town if you are going west to Hungary or Oradea until the highway is not yet built. A lot of Hungarian license plates but finally a guy stoped for me who was going to Frankfurt. Sadly i was going to east slovakia so got off just after debrecen. Would have been really nice progress if i was going to germany. Really nice guy tho. Stood with oradea sign. Tho one trucker going the other direction shouted at me in some language and pounted to go more in the town or was trying to say that it was not the best spit but it worked in the end. But holy its a fucking long ride to Oradea form here trough all the villages

Great MOP, last one before Germany so quite some cars and lorries stopping here however most cars here are usually pretty full so you may have to wait quite some time, wait times of 30-60 minutes expected, potential for serious long distance drives though, so definitely worth the wait

Very good petrol station and truckers stop, with a bit of luck you can immediately find someone going to Germany, would probably ask around, easy to find rides to Wroclaw, Czechia, Dresden, potential to all the way to Netherlands, wait times of 40-100 minutes by asking expected though, as most personal cars are pretty full here and you have to find the right lorry driver, definitely you should come here and i don't get the Katy Wroclawksie hate

Big Gas station with lots of cars, got out of the car and the first person i asked took me 150km. He even would have taken me to Germany.

Pretty short ride, everyone went to Copenhagen instead of Germany, where we wanted to go. When the car stops for you I recommend asking them if it would be okay to take you at least to rastplatz in Kolding, from there it's only straight to Germanyyy

Really good spot. Traffic is super slow. 30km/h. We were trying to go to Germany with just a thumb and we go a ride to the highway but probably maybe woudl have been smarter just to stay there with a sign. We were two of us so we didnt go ask truck because we thought its not worth it but probably would recommend to do that there because it has very big paeking for truck that want to avoid the tolls.

So this spot is also doable in Nord direction. Medium traffic. Cars + trucks. Also toilets and water tap behind them. Lot of ppl going to Strasbourg/Germany. Got a ride Luxembourg in like 30 mins.

Most cars going to Saranda. They have enough place to stop. Got a ride by a guy from our hometown in Germany

Nice view, friendly people, very expensive coffee and still a shitty spot to go to Slovenia. Not as many cars as expected and lots of lots of people going to Germany (maybe due to the time - end of German summer holiday), prepared to sleep here but got lucky and was picked up by a nice guy on his way to Turkey after 20 minutes or so. But all in all: try this spot if you want to go to Germany or northern Austria, don’t try it for any other direction

Nice people and lot of local traffic. We asked around at the first gas station after border crossing and got a ride to Lončari. If English doesn't work, try German. Lot of Bosňaks work/ed I'm Germany.

Great spot for Chemnitz and Leipzig. Cars have to stop at the traffic lights, and you can easily jump in. Decent traffic, the main way for trucks to Germany.

I am not sure exactly about spot, it was mount ago, but more less spot is there. It wasn't bad, I was lucky, guy from Germany offered me a ride directly to Sarajevo. I didn't refuse ofc Before him many cars passed. I suppose it is good spot to Serbia. I didn't have sign

I don't know what anyone said, but most of the vehicles are heading specifically to Germany and Austria—very few to Italy, and the ones that do go are packed. I've been here since yesterday evening, but it's been completely useless; I just hope I make it to Padua.

perfect spot for berlin and all the north of germany got took here in 10 min by waiting at the end of the gas station totally recommend it the spot is really great have a sign is really useful (lots of traffic) good luck 😌

middle spot for germany i was heading berlin but most of them were locals or just don’t have enough space (monday morning august between 8-11 am) finally someone drop at the last gas station before germany which was so much better good luck the spot is perfect btw 🙌🏼

No site for cars to stop. There’s a construction going on. Maybe it was a good spot before but not atm. 2 ppl (M and F), used a sign with “Germany” written.

We had a sign saying “South/germany”. And got a ride after 35 minutes. Not the best spot, but a lot of traffic and space to pick us up.

Heading towards Germany. Was going around with a sign for DE around all the trucks but no one was going or they were staying for the night there. I moved to this spot and within 2 minutes got a ride in a Porsche to Nuremberg going 285km/h on the autobahn!
