Buss stop, limited visibility and no one stops, after two hours of waiting I decided to move little bit further down the road for better visibility

Much better than spot little bit further. In early morning on in the evening dogs might be problem but at this hour it's to hot for them in summer and they don't care about anything. Biggest downside of this spot is that it is popular among local hitchhikers

Abandoned gas station. Good for sleeping near by as there aren't any humans nor dogs here but visibility is limited and speeds are quite high. I came here only because spot before was occupied by local hitchhikers and it wasn't a good idea aldo sleeping here is something I can recommend. There is a nice spot on top of lower clif aldo it requires a little climbing to reach

I think that's the best spot for leaving Mitrovica to the north

Not the perfect spot but this road aldo looking like highway technically isn't one and Albanian people will stop even in such place. In ten minutes I got ride to Mitrovica

Nice bus stop for hitchhiking. After just 5 minutes my last drive pulled over and took me even further towards Mitrovica. Maybe he even told me that he is going there later but he didn't spoke much English so maybe that's why I didn't understood. But generally spot looks good for that direction

Had to wait a little but I got ride further towards Mitrovica and my driver invited me to his house for some cookies and juice. Space for stopping is big and I don't really see a point in walking anywhere further from here like was adviced on hitchwiki

Going to Prizren. Good spot and cars slow down. It was very fast.

hardcore spot, cars go rlly fast, we got thrown out here, so im not sure if its possible to get here, cars go really fast, but it is lowkey a good spot, apparently police stops there very often and catches cars that go too fast and will tell the cars to take u instead of paying the fine, but thats just what our driver told us haha

waited right after the place with taxis, so much place to stop, got a ride all the way to Pristina with an amazing guy who took us to try all the traditional food

We came on foot from prisztina center. Not the best but it is better then staying closer to the city

Space for stopping is quite big and there is nice place for sleeping near by close to a river (I tested it) but waiting times are high here. First, not many people are going from Serbia to Kosovo. Second, most of them aren't really willing to take you also one Kosovo Albanian stopped but he wanted money so I refused ride. After waiting for two hours on a day before, camping close to a river and then standing for another two hours the next day I got lucky with Kosovo Serb who took me to Serbian town of Gracanica south of Pristina. Over all if you want to hitchhike from Serbia to Kosovo it's doable but requires a lot of patience so maybe it's better to just go there through Macedonia or Montenegro instead but if you want to go like me than good luck, you will need it

I walked here from the city and got ride further towards Kosovo. You have nice space for stopping and bizantine ruins

We thought we would be stranded here for eternity (trying to get to Kosovo) but we were taken to Fierze almost immediately (we were very lucky). The mountain road takes a long time and hardly anyone takes this route seemingly and apparently. You can stand anywhere on the one main street and stop cars.

Very very few cars seemed to come this way, and most are going to Koman or Tiranë/Shkodër. We were trying to go to Kosovo and got a lift to Fushë-Arrez. But the spot is really good, there's a tree right in the bend for shade.

Seemed like a good spot to go to peja, but a lot of locals passed. Also it was a Sunday. But after a long time I got lucky and a family from Kosovo picked me up. I wanted to go to Peja and they would have brought me there ( even though it wasn’t on their way), but they told me about the waterfalls. So they drove me to the waterfalls. It was really really crowded, beautiful but also a lot of trash.

High traffic, I was in the peak season when all people from Kosovo living in Germany and Switzerland come to their home town in summer. First car I asked in front of the supermarket brought me to Gjakova

Low traffic but first car stopped and took me all the way to Kosovo

Welcome to Sweden. Hundreds of cars passing by without even blinking at you. At the highway there was an accident and a big traffic jam. Many people were therefore navigated to exit the highway through this gas station. I was standing at the exit to the regional road with a Ljungby sign. It was basically the whole highway passing me but with no interest. After an hour (probably like 200 cars) a guy from Kosovo took me to my destination Växjö. <3

got a ride directly to tiranë. there is a shuttle going from dresden to tiranë twice a week. they stop here by chance :) maybe you can hop on for free. look for albanian number plate and ask (drive through kosovo so at least 1700km :p

got unlawfully declined entry to kosovo, so had to turn around and go to belgrade. easy HH right after the border.

along the road in presevo and all the way to kosovo border you can hitchhike with 0 problems. just keep walking and keep thumbing. i got many small rides, not putting it all on the map.

i was going to kosovo, so asked to drop me near the next turn. you can easily go to Belgrade from here though.

a lot of cars, great number of them with Belgrade or Serbian plates going to the border. Also some Romanian or Kosovo. But many cars are full with kids/luggage. I still got a ride tho. Stood exactly at the pump, workers didn't mind. had sign saying "SRB"

This is a roadside restaurant, got dropped off by a guy and first ride I got one! Just ask around. Lot of Kosovo plate

Hitchhiked from here to get to Villach, Ana amazing spot where the only direction is Austria so you can get to Villach quite quick. Lovely man from Kosovo drove me straight to the station.
