Cant remember if it was at this precise point exactly. The spot was just next to the immigration center. All of the truck drivers that go through this road, park next to it to do the paperwork. There is a Petrobras gas station close by also and hitching with a thomb is good also.

Peaje en Minga Guazu, spot for hitching to Asuncin. To get here take bus from Ciudad del Este that says Minga Guazu Km 24. Km 24 is a name of a settlement next to the peaje.

The only road to go to Paraguay (even if you are already inside!)
the road is off-track, few cars ride to the main road between Pedro Juan and Conception.
If you found a bus (2 a day) jump in!

Good Spot. It's a gas station that has a lot of traffic.
If you prefer, you can walk to the roundabout, and choose to go north to Formosa/Paraguay or West to Salta and Chile

Checkpoint of Gendarmeria. Speak with the officials and they can stop a truck for you. Lots of trucks from Paraguay going to duty free zone in Iquique, Chile.

CEASA: There's a train (CPTM - ESMERALDA LINE) that takes you here easily. You have to take the YELLOW LINE of the METRO and then do the combination. Get down in CEASA station. (In every station you can ask for a map of lines). Here is not the best option for those who want a fast ride. Take your time, be amazed with this huge (HUGE!!) space full of truckers, fruits, greens, fish, and lots of other foods and talk with EVERYONE. When I say everyone, i mean EVERYONE (not only truckers). Say them where you want to go, ask if they know where people who go that way, usually park their vehicles or in which tent inside CEASA they have their lunch. People who works here knows lots of people, and if they like you, chances are HIGHER for you to find a trucker going to RIO, CURITIBA, PORTO ALEGRE, CHILE, PARAGUAY, ARGENTINA, MANAUS, PORTO VELHO. EVERYWHERE! Truckers here can go everywhere!!!

When I tryed to hitch a ride from here, I was looking for Rio de Janeiro, I couldn't find anyone going there in that day (only in the next one) but I received offers of truckers who were going to LOTS of other places.
