Yes how ukrainian i know, so i can say you that on this punkt of crossing, you cant do it on your foot, because its place only for cars and buses, autobuses, only place on Pl-UA border, where you can get to Ukrainian, (or polish) side by foot, it is near to the polish city Prsemsyl, Medyka-Shegyinni, its only place where you can do it by foot, on others, the policmens just will dont let you go , and will stop you, of course you can try to ask this cars who are waiting in the line, to cross a border, but it can takes a lot of time, like for 2-5 hours, or even more, but who knows

When i arrived a truck was there and upon asking took me straight to leipzig. To get to the spot i took the bus to Auchan and walked along the fence until i found a hole

I waited 30min with a SK sign then a Nowy Targ sign. I had no luck and moved towards the highway intersection south of this place and got picked up in 15min towards Myslenice which unfortunately didn't help me a lot.

I think the spot is great to go Slovakia but I was even luckier, I managed to go to Miskolc, Hungary with a Slovakia sign. The cars can see you from a distance and the bus stop is perfect for stopping.

Works very well for Kaunas. Okay amount of traffic.

Busy service station. Was able to find a lift to Suwalki but should be very easy to find one to Lithuania.

Perfect spot to head north towards Warsaw. Use a sign though. There's a bus stop where the cars can pull over and even a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights you could abuse to your advantage if you're evil enough.

Good amount traffic and visibility but quite high speeds. Took me quite a while to find a ride to Krakow. Some trucks stop here too.

To all non polish hitchhikers. There is a shooting range nearby this service station owned by former policeman who is allso a psychopath. He has 4 aggressive dogs that roam freerly in forest next to this service station. AVOID CAMPING OUTSIDE OF SERVICE STATION AND DON'T GO TO THE FOREST

It rained quite heavily, so I found shelter nearby Vynoteka. A lot of people going to Lithuania buy cheap alcohol in Poland's border, and I believe this is one of the last alcohol stores in the north.

Avoid this gas station if you’re not going to Kraków, not good for Nowy Sącz.

Great spot for reaching Poland. I only got a ride to the border but to Krakow should be very possible.

The service station was reasonably busy at 10am on a Thursday. I stood at the exit. Was trying to go to Warsaw from Kosice. Not sure if the highway route is better than taking the regional roads through Lublin but I decided to see. Quite quickly found a ride to Ruzomberok and onto the E77 into Poland.

A lot of cars (most of them to Bauska and riga) and trucks (frequently to Tallin and poland). I caught a nice man who went to Ukraine, and left me in warsaw. One of the best spot Nearby riga

I was waiting at this place with the sign: Suwalki, there is a good place for stopping because there is a stop for trucks with carwash, restaurant, gas station. It was in the morning Sunday and there was not so much cars but after 20 min, one driver saw me and my sign and he stopped, I said that I go to Poland, he said that he go to Warsaw and I said that I need only to the ELK city and we went well.

I hitchhiked there in the morning, there wasnt a lot of traffic, I guess its better to get onto the bigger gas station further on the highway, but it is easy to get there from Frankfurt (you have to jump over the fence tho) and there are some cars going to Berlin/Poland

Great spot on the bus stop. Enough place for truck to stop. Perfect place to go north to Banska Bystrica or Poland.

Traffic mostly local. Held up a sign to Poland and all drivers shrugged that they're not going there. But at 5PM on a wednesday it didn't take long until I got a car towards the border. Gas station employees gave me a piece of cardboard for the sign and were very nice. :)

Pretty nice restaurant, and lot of cars going to Poland.

In theory, it was a great place – a hostel, a gas station, and a place to buy vignettes for TIRs (entry and exit from the same side), but we came across a little traffic. It was getting late, so after almost an hour, we decided we'd be done in 10 minutes and were going to sleep here at the hostel. We were about to head back when a couple from Poland on their way to Montenegro stopped by. We got to Zvolen SK with them.

Perfect spot, every car from Hel and nearby have to go through this round. After few minutes I got a catch exactly where I wanted, straight to Wrocław, but there was a lot of cars from all over poland, specially in the summer season.

Asked around to find someone going to Szczecin, Poland. A bit quiet but most people are going to the east of Germany

very specific situation bc i got here at 11PM, stayed the night and asked truckers in the morning. this area on the A20 is a little bit of a black hole, so this was the best option for long distance rides to PL. only a rest stop and a toilet so mainly truckers and some people stopping for a piss but a LOT of people going to poland compared to the big orlen a few km back. i got a ride from the third trucker i asked, 4 hours directly to poznan but most polish truckers don't take hitchhikers anymore. good luck if you're ever stranded here!

Not too much traffic and cars coming from the main road are going quite fast, try to stand somewhere where road signs won’t hide you from them. Not ideal, but basically all traffic to eastern Slovakia from this part of Poland goes through here. Ideally avoid getting dropped here and get a direct ride to Slovakia from further north.

The Staff at the Gas station ist still very unfriendly ans told us to leave the Gas station cause of hh. Not so much Traffic but we we were lucky with a Car from poland who brought us to berlin

Probably very good for Czechia and Poland but nobody willing to take me to Dresden. Got offered a can of coke by a Turkish truck driver tho, so can’t really complain.
