Decent amounts of traffic, there is a spot for cars to pull over just after the bridge, so stand just under the bridge, so all in all recommend going here no problem getting out of warsaw. Use sign Lodz

Lots of cars going not too fast, easy to stop, therefore a great spot, didnt look easy to get here though if you are approaching from konin. Lift to poznan after 1o min

Seemed medium busy, all in all a fine place, but people are also going towards szczecin

My favorite rest stop in europe, extremely busy and you can be very ambitious with your rides. Bonus, there were some nice gypsies hanging around who were very talkative and gave me a soda.

Spot looks good bus stop on route going to Oświęcim but not many people are stopping here. I got an offer towards Żywiec but is wasn't on my way, after some waiting I got ride to Oświęcim train station

We arrived at the spot around 19:20 and waited about 10/15min at this spot, were taken to Katovice.

Eith a sign "LT", git ride to Kaunas in 15 minutes. I stood under sign "taxi" with some space for cars to stop.

Quite good spot to get ride towards Suwalki or Lithuania. Bus stop, but lot of buses stop there, so a bit inconvenient. Got ride to Suwalki in 20 minutes (with sign).

Not bad spot, probably got quite unlucky here, so I waited here 90 minutes to a ride to Orzysz. A bus stop. But not very much traffic and mostly local I think. Much better than other places in this village.

Great spot, a lot of space next to the road, got ride in 3 minutes. The car went to Mikolajki, but took me to a village further on the way in direction to Ełk.

The best spot in Biskupiec to go anywhere (except north). Near the gighway HH is nearly impossible. Bus stop, sign reccomended (many possible directions). Got ride to Mrągowo in 30 minutes (with sign).

Not optimal spot, but it worked. Some dirty space (but not really much) next the road, where cars can stop. Still the one of the best stop to get to highway in Nidzica. Got ride to Olsztynek in 20 minutes.

If I could give 0 stars, definitely would. Spent here around 20 hours, and no reaction whatsoever, except one ***** who stopped 20m from me and as I was getting closer with my stuff he just drove away.. funny joke bro. Eventually put my high beam light towards my sign Poznan, and closer to the morning time police came and escorted me to the nearest gas station which as HH spot was even more pain in the *** - very small amount of cars, and almost everyone was locals who lived in same neighborhood.

Maybe the best spot to get out of Warsaw if travelling west. There is a hole in the fence in the back to get through. Came with a train to Brwinow and walked from there. Found some cardboard from the dumpster and first wrote Germany on it but no luck. Asked around the trucks and then went to outgoing lane to hitchike. Then changed sign to Poznan and immediatly got close to Poznan to next MOP station. Some traffic, a lot of trucks.

Not bad spot in direction to Ełk, bus stop on the main road, quite a lot of space to stop, but cars go quite fast here, but still got ride to nearby Biskupiec in 5 minutes (but I was maybe quite lucky).

Good in the morning, bad in the evening. Many cars go back to berlin but this is a good spot to get to poland. Standing near the highway exit with a sign works great. ... I arrived around 5pm and the sun was setting at 6. After 2-3 hours of standing in the rain, trying to catch a ride to poznan I went to get some fries(only vegetarian option besides the sanwiches) at the gas station. I charged my phone while chatting with a Bosnian truck driver who offered to buy me a soda and a sandwich. Then I went to the nearby woods to sleep in my hammock (luckily I had a tarp) and got a ride the next morning straight to the center of Poznan. Sometime's it's better to give up and start again the next morning, trust me.

It was already dark and not much traffic but cars here go towards Poland, we were very lucky and got a ride to Polish border

Big space for stopping, even truck can stop here, got lucky with ride straight to Poland. You can sleep in forest right after railroad, it's a calm and nice place for camping

Get here on foot from precious spot at Cirkle K gas station ~5km away. Way much luckier here, here is bus stop, plenty place for cars to stop, and 50m further is small truck stop. It was end of September around 8pm so getting dark outside but basically almost immediately van stopped and with a night stop at campsite took me inside Poland, past Warsaw and all the bad spots along the way. Best spot to HH to Kaunas or even further west. Great driver as well, spent the night at campsite and in the morning going further. Drop me off at MOP Nowostawy near Lódz

One male 40+, one big backpack, with a sign, a dry night. On my way from Lwów (Ukraine) to Wrocław (Poland), about 590 kms (successful). Not superb busy. No rain. I arrived here when it was already dark (20:00). Initially I was planning to go with my previous ride to Opole. But I decided to risk and it paid off. Normally I thumb only. But since it was dark I walked around with a sign "WRO" in my hand and I asked people. After 12 minutes the 4th asked driver agreed to take me to Wrocław. He was superb kind. On the way to Poznań he changed his plans and instead bypassing Wrocław on a highway (AOW), he went through Wrocław.

I went to the beginning of the queueing cars. With a sign "KRK" (short for Kraków) in my hand I started walking along the queue asking some drivers. After a 7-minute walk a couple agreed to take me. Since it wasn't the beginning of the queue I had to wait some time. It took us 3h15min to cross both (UKR/PL) checkposts. The couple was going to Opole. They dropped me on the last petrol station before they exited the highway. Which was a good decision.

A parking for some eating places. I was standing on a gravel bay just before it. Plenty of space to pull over. Decent visibility. After 10 minutes I got a ride to the border.

A very good visibility. It was only 5 minutes wait. A military (in a private car) took me less than 10 kms. He was going only to Jaworów. But he was kind enough and he dropped me in a nice spot a bit after that town.

It's an extra lane for entry and exit to various places like a petrol station etc. There is a bus stop at the end of it. Good visibility. Steady flow of cars. For the first half an hour I was standing with a sign "PL". Then I thought it could scare the short rides and the second half and hour I used only a thumb. I don't know why this place took so long. The place looks really good. But the other 3 rides before the border plus one at the border never took longer than 10 minutes. And here I waited one hour.

Really good spot for Poland. But have sign. A lot space to stop and cars go slow. And you get rid of most of the local traffic by now. Got a ride to nowy targ. And also accept ride only to there because rides stopping before is suicide as there is just one huge not ending town of tourist house which goes for kilometres which i can imagine is not the most fun place to hitchhike out

Just dont get off here cars go super fast and not a lot of traffic. But some tourists picked me of going from a side road to the cave so perfect for me as i was going to poland. I was pretty desperate because it was really shit spot as cars going from kezmarok were going super fast and there was no chance to stop them and no cars where going north from the side road only this one tourist one.

Really mice spot but dont accept any ride not going to rakusy because you will be stranded as i was. And it was not nice. I think its better to go from here towards poland not from spiska bela.

Busy gas station even late in the vening. I was trying to go to poland from here and didnt know which route should i take. Trough rzeszow or krakow but some nice guys where going to banska bystryca so i just decided going to poprad. More progress in the day because it didnt seem that anyone would go to poland at that time of the day. But in hindsight there would be maybe more polish traffic going to rzeszow but idk. I only tried krakow route.

Quite good spot to HH to Poland, gravel place in front of a house, some space to stop, but not too much. But probably better than a bus stop, bc the stop is in a curve and drivers cant see yoi well. Cars go slow, mostly to Poland I think. Got ride to Lubawka on 25 minutes.

Hitchhicking in Poland is pretty straightforward, easier if you speak some polish, but a lot of folks speak english

Many people going to Poland, we wanted to go to the Czeck republic. Eventually a car took us to a rest station on the highway to Prague which was better.

Just dont go here. The fuel prices were kreizi and literally almost zero cars in the gas station and noone was going to poland from here. Most were czechia direction. But we found one car that was goign to Poznan and took us. We were about to start to go around to Berlin south and cross the highway there and go from there to Poland

Good spot to go to Poland, but also quite a lot of local traffic, got rie to Bernartice in 20 minutes. Enough place to stop on gravel places next to the road.
