No trucks here, otherwise ok spot. A Serbian picked us up and lifted to Belgrade. The soda machine takes euros but DOESN'T RETURN. Cars go relatively slow.

(2 people, f, 26 + m, 49) Waited for 60 minutes, no lift. Probably not a bad spot at other times. But on a Monday night there was not much traffic going. But the coffee is great and we made good use of the free Wifi before we walked to the train station and took a cheap train to Belgrad instead.

Seemes like a really good spot, but the cars didn't stop. It's at a bus station so after 45 mintes i took the bus for 240.

Literally waited for 1,5 minutes. A good spot to leave Belgrade in my opinion.

Some other car left us before turn to indija. Little space to stop the car, they drove not too fast.

All the car traffic from the border goes through here. People drive very slowly and there is lots of space for them to stop. Got picked up by a Turkish family on vacation and they took us all the way to Belgrad. They even wanted us to go with them to Budapest the next day but we were cramped for time.

Mostly local traffic but it’s by a stoplight so people get a chance to see you and think and there is space to pullover. Getting a ride to Novo Sad is fairly easy but further is a bit hard.

Cars are driving so fast here and barely nobody stops :( got a ride by a local to another crossroads

Asked cars and the first one we asked got us all the way to München and we could sleep in their car. They asked us for documents which is understandable since we were entering the EU

only romanian car was parked - asked and got a lift to the border. you can go to closer serbian cities without a problem tho. bus 108 comes right to the gas station.

Great Gas Station for Zagreb, friendly staff, gave me cardboard and marker to write Zagreb, people bought me water. Had to wait less than 10 mins for a ride directly to Zagreb

9 pm, solo male, second car I asked took me to belgrade. free beer and croissant. god bless Serbs. busy gas station.

evening of Saturday, all cars are full. after 40 minutes got a great ride to Nis, asked to drop at the gas station on the highway right before that. easy to keep going to Belgrade.

Probably the best spot to get out of Vrsac, enough room to stop, but not too much traffic

Not many cars here. I had to hitchhike on highway where some guy stopped and took me after around 15 mins of waiting here

It is not the best spot to hitchike even though local lad convinced me that I will find my ride quickly. This spot located right next to customs, so yeah heavy traffic but most people don't pay attention much. So it was easier to take bus to Velika Reka for approximately 4€. DO NOT RECOMMEND

just stand near the border road and someone will take you. i don't recommend crossing by foot, because a lot of tunnels are ahead with tiny or no sidewalks.

We were stopping to Serbian border and not many people were going there, stop after the roundabout to filter the people not going to Serbia.

We were stopping to Belgrade and NOONE goes to Serbia, everyone is going to Romania. Otherwise good stopping spot. Good spot for spending time, spent the night in a small forest. Free WC.

One male one female, signed Milići in order to head to Zvornik (and ultimately Belgrade). Cars are going kinda fast but they can see you from a distance The most wild hitchhiking experience in my life happened. Two guys driving out from the gas station said they could take us to Milići. Then on the way they said they could do Zvornik too. Eventually they said they could take us all the way to Belgrade -- and they did They're from Serbia themselves (work in BiH?) and were driving a Belgrade car, so I supposed they had family/friends here. But if I understood correctly, they were initially heading back towards Han Pijesak after dropping us off in Milići (already the opposite direction of where they were going) They treated us to snacks and drinks along the way and played cool music. The only unsettling thing was both of them each drank about 5 bottles of beer the whole way. I suppose they drink and drive often, and we arrived in Belgrade safely, but it could've not been the case

Great spot to stand, drivers are going slowly and there’s a lot of space to stop. Not many people going to Serbia I think, but I got a driver to take me to the border which I then crossed on foot and got a ride very shortly after.

Big traffic going to all different places. A lot of space for cars to stop safely and you can even ask around truck drivers. I got a truck driver who was going all the way to Serbia to take me to Bjelo Polje which took a lot of time - 3 hours for 100 km(mountains, speed limits)

Nice spot as cars are turning onto motorway from 3 directions and also can see you from a distance while they wait at the lights. Got a ride in 15 mins to Gradiska border with Serbia. I waited just past the crossing after vehicles have turned onto westbound highway, there is a bus layby behind me where my driver could pull in. Sign read BIH / Kutina

great spot to get to Kumanovo, if you want to go to Serbia after. ask for makpetrol station near Kumanovo, there are a lot of cars there and easy to get to. had a sign "КУ", and was waving aggressively at "KU" plate cars.

First I wait near the gas station, but this spot has many trucks stopping - after leaving the terminal they can easily see you. Entering the terminal is not permitted, but the border guard in the window helped me and asked some driver to take me. So (with his pause to sleep) I drive through all Serbia to Macedonia.

Low traffic gas station and cars are often full but almost all of them go to Serbia and to Belgrade. You can find a car that is not full. Ask around with Serbian words to be polite and don't use a board. I had actually made some old Serbian friends that wanted to help me find an empty car lol. Thanks Milica and Zora!

Waited not that long actually but was lucky because very low traffic and cars are full. However you should probably find someone to go in direction of Serbia or to some gas station further where most of them will go to Serbia. Learn some words and phrase in Serbian to be polite. Ask around don't use cardboard. Thanks Alex!

This place was perfect to go to Serbia. Someone took me to Niš. My last destination was Belgrade, but from Niš to Belgrade was easy as well

Cars pass slowly and there is some grass to sit. No shade. After 30min I got picked up (after changing my sign to ‚25km M5‘ instead of Serbia). Still got 200km. I‘d recommend this spot over the one below.

pretty easy to get lifts, especially with truckers. Just go up to them as they sort their papers. got taken to rožaje then via his mate's car to the service station on the way to serbia

You're probably not going to get a ride all the way to where you want to go but there is a nice traffic light with a countdown so you just go in the middle of the road asking everyone and they'll bring you somewhere. I took 3 rides to get to the border to Serbia, crossed on foot and got to Pirot then bus to Nis cause you're not going anywhere if you get stuck in Pirot.

I waited a looot, direction Zagreb. At the end finally guy from Serbia helped me and gave me a ride to the next gas station

big potential its difficult to get there. you have to hitchhike to this spot i was lucky and one guy stop immediately. He went to Serbia. unfortunetaly not my destination.

Not an ideal spot to hitch to Serbia since its the start of the town, but we got dropped off here and we got picked up in 3 minutes
