Used the RAMPA sign and got taken ~25kms to a resting place by the 3rd car that passed. Cars can stop easily here and it can be reached well by bus.

The toll station up the road doesnt exist anymore so this is the last place to HH to go direction Sofia. Traffic was solid for a gas station and people were very open and kind when we asked around. A coach took us all the way to Istanbul from here.

Well… this is not a “jackpot” spot. It was a rainy Friday afternoon, traffic was agonizingly low. People are nice here, but it took me a while to find a ride to the promised land of Belgrade. At some point I tried hitching right on the highway, which the gas station security guard politely told me not to do. Finally, as I was beginning to scout out locations for a ditch to sleep in, I was picked up at the gas station by a very friendly guy going to Belgrade. Nice! This is indeed probably better than hitching directly from the border, and perhaps I was unlucky to wait so long. Just be patient I guess!

to get to here you can get 611 or 860I and then it's a 10 minutes walk. Not many trucks stopping but with a bit of luck you find someone. We were here on a national holiday so not many people passing by, but in the end we found a couple going to Rijeka

Not a great spot honestly. It's the lane that trucks need to go through to merge again onto the highway. Quite a bit of them will actually stop but I did the mistake of accepting a ride to Pirot. From Pirot there's no way you're getting anywhere, if you decide to go there, go to the bus station and you'll get a 4€ ticket to Nis. From Nis it was fairly easy to get to Belgrade or further.

Go in this exact spot, where truck drivers stop. Don't bother with cars if you're going to Sarajevo or Belgrade. Get the sign and ask them nicely when they stop. The 4th truck I asked to brought me all the way.

couldn't get a ride, you get more traffic than staying on the toll booth but nobody is ever going to stop. I stayed 30 min and got back to just before the toll booth. Don't go here

great spot to go to the actual hitchhiking spot, nais hotel and gazprom gas station. I got the ride without the "Beograd" cardboard displayed.

Cars pass slowly and there is some grass to sit. No shade. After 30min I got picked up (after changing my sign to ‚25km M5‘ instead of Serbia). Still got 200km. I‘d recommend this spot over the one below.

pretty easy to get lifts, especially with truckers. Just go up to them as they sort their papers. got taken to rožaje then via his mate's car to the service station on the way to serbia

You're probably not going to get a ride all the way to where you want to go but there is a nice traffic light with a countdown so you just go in the middle of the road asking everyone and they'll bring you somewhere. I took 3 rides to get to the border to Serbia, crossed on foot and got to Pirot then bus to Nis cause you're not going anywhere if you get stuck in Pirot.

big potential its difficult to get there. you have to hitchhike to this spot i was lucky and one guy stop immediately. He went to Serbia. unfortunetaly not my destination.

Not an ideal spot to hitch to Serbia since its the start of the town, but we got dropped off here and we got picked up in 3 minutes

A lot of Serbians cars going after the work (16-17:00) back home. A lot of traffic. I believe this is a good spot (especially for Serbia, where they don't usually take hitchhikers). You don't even need a sign. True that you won't get far though.

It seems to be a pretty good place to hitchhiking in the direction of Budapest. There is a gas station, a large parking lot for which trucks and passenger cars stand. The station can be reached directly from the E60 road. We tried to catch transport from there to Budapest (from where we wanted to go further towards Belgrade) we were lucky and we came across a driver from Serbia who easily offered us a ride to Belgrade. In general, the traffic is quite high and a lot of locals and tourists. (There is also a Tesla charging station so maybe you can hitchhiking a Tesla)

We used this spot to go to the Serbian border. Not many cars going to the highway/to Serbia from here, mostly local traffic. There is a traffic light that’s red very often for the cars, so they stand a lot and can see you well. There is space to pick you up.

Good place to catch a ride to Tuzla, traffic is slow and many cars returning from Serbia are passing there

Don't accept rides to Csengele if you want to go to Serbia, you may eventually get lucky and get out of this godforsaken place but you'll lose a lot of time trying, mostly tourists with packed cars or truck drivers heading towards Romania stop there

Gas station and rest area – a perfect spot for both northbound and southbound directions! Many cars heading to Oslo and Gothenburg, and one was even going all the way back to Serbia. Ask people at the gas station and in the charging area. I got a ride to Oslo.

Decent spot to go on further through the highway diretion Bosnia and Hercegovina or Serbia. A track driver took us to another gas station.

We got dropped off here at around 10pm and said "fuck it we ball", stood in the middle of the road with thumbs up once every 5mins when a car passed. Somehow we scored a ride to Gyor, which was our direction, but if you're going to Hungary and by some miracle end up here, best of luck. most drivers are either going to Zagreb or alomg the border towards Serbia. the hungarian cars thend to be families of 4. Also, illegal. Have fun ;)

Good stop to go in direction of Visegrad. We got a ride with Serb, that was going to Kraljevo in Serbia.
