First of all. You can cross that border on foot but after crossing Serbian border control a car stopped here to ask me were am I going and they took me to Visegrad. Luck has returned to me I guess

Spot itself looks nice. There is enough space even for truck to stop. Also next to a war memorial there is free water and for that I give 2 stars to that spot but for little over 3 hours nobody was stopping as I wanted to get on Bosnian side of border today so I abandoned hitchhiking and just went to the border on foot (it's like 5 km so not a long way)

Big traffic, mosty local. After about 15 minute 1 guy took me to the next gas station.

Another shit spot. After sending here for over two and half hour old guy came here and told me that spot under bridge that I stood under yesterday is better. Literally nobody stopped here while I was waiting and I have totally no idea how previous reviews can be so positive. This place sucks, try to get ride past it from uzice if you are going to Bosnia

Really good spot to go to Belgrade. Most of the traffic goes there. Got ride there very fast as cars go slow and there is a lot of space for you

Idk there wasnt much traffic in the gas station but constant flow of cars on the road so i just stood there. Car stoped and only took me to the next big town

Didn't had any luck with that spot. At the end it was getting dark so I decided to sleep near by and try again in the morning

I like 8 minutes I got ride to Zlatibor/Bosnia junction

I have mixed feelings for that spot. First I stood here for 1 and half hour and no one stopped. Then as my water supply ran out I went to store to buy some water, went back here and got ride to uzice in 10 minutes. Generally it's the best spot for that direction and space for stopping is quite good but you need some luck (as always while hitchhiking)

Quite a nice spot aldo you had to wait a little. Got lucky with ride to Cacak aldo if I wanted I could have gone all the way to Belgrade but as I was going to Sarajevo I got off at Cacak

Space for stopping is quite big and there is nice place for sleeping near by close to a river (I tested it) but waiting times are high here. First, not many people are going from Serbia to Kosovo. Second, most of them aren't really willing to take you also one Kosovo Albanian stopped but he wanted money so I refused ride. After waiting for two hours on a day before, camping close to a river and then standing for another two hours the next day I got lucky with Kosovo Serb who took me to Serbian town of Gracanica south of Pristina. Over all if you want to hitchhike from Serbia to Kosovo it's doable but requires a lot of patience so maybe it's better to just go there through Macedonia or Montenegro instead but if you want to go like me than good luck, you will need it

We waited about 1.5h and then got a ride close the the Serbian border. Probably the best spot to get out of Budapest in direction of Serbia. Imo its better to stand at the entrance of the station than at the exit.

Nice spot, a lot of space and easy accesible by bus from city center. Got ride further south on my way to Serbia

One man, one woman. Most people are going to Romania from there but we got pretty lucky and got a ride to Serbia quickly. Just ask around and I guess you will find someone. Look out for Serbian license plates

Good Shade, Market and WiFi. Sign Nis/Sofia It can be a good spot to hitchhike but i think i just got quite unlucky since most cars were full. People were really nice and brought me water, energy drinks and good conversation so the wait was nice. I feel like sticking to tolls/rampas is more efficient in Serbia tho. (And dont get off at the station i got to) 1 Male

Nobody took us. Wanted to go to Serbia but only locals in Montenegro were somehow reacting. Nothing from Serbs.

Finding a car at this border checkpoint was not fun. You can easily cross the border on foot, even though it is a car-only checkpoint, just approach the booth, show them your passport, and you're set. But finding a car willing to take me anywhere was a complete pain in the ass, most of the drivers were not willing to stop because of the police presence. If they stop for the shops/toilets, they are usually packed with stuff, especially during the holiday season. But the Serbian cops are awesome. They did not bother me at all, and when they had a shift change (7 pm Serbian time), one of them asked me about my goal (he saw that I was stuck there for 5 hours) and stopped a car for me going all the way to Czechia. Maybe soliciting a ride in the queue between the Bulgarian and Serbian checkpoints would be easier, but you can't really do that once you enter Serbia.

good spot before A1 enter to Sofia sign, one man gave me a ride, wanted to continue to highway to Serbia, he thought he knows a better spot but left me on a very very wrong place on the other side of Sofia city

A ton of cars, but all full of families. It seems to be a great spot to head to Serbia and especially Romania, but maybe not in summer :(

We were stopping to Belgrade and NOONE goes to Serbia, everyone is going to Romania. Otherwise good stopping spot. Good spot for spending time, spent the night in a small forest. Free WC.
