Had no luck going to Budapest. People didnt look very pleased and we gave up at some point. Very loud place due to the 8 lanes of traffic

Tried this spot to get a ride to Hungary as an alternative to the highway entry near the UFO bridge thing since that one wasn't working at all in direction Györ/Budapest (with big sign). Here was very dead however, even though cars have lots of space to stop. Probably lots of traffic moving only into the suburbs. Only use as a last resort. You can probably camp very well in the nearby forest though

Wanted a ride for BA but a nice couple took us to Senec so great

I was in no rush, so take my waiting time with a grain of salt. This is a good place. A lot of trucks are going through this place, most of them heading toward Budapest, but after asking for a while, I got a ride directly to Romania.

Not so frequent gas station, but last in Slovakia in a way to Austria/Hungary. We (couple) spent some time here and asking people directly and also with sign to Vienna/Graz, but we didn’t manage it to Graz that day.

Quite good place, not so many cars, but few of them go to Bratislava. Some cars are a bit full because of workers groups. Anyway, you can find your ride to south of Slovakia from here.

I just started and car stoped next to me. Czech family went home from vacation. There was one place for me in the car.

I was waiting more than 3 hours and gave up. I went sleep to the north forest. I recommend to go to other side of the Bratislava.

big potential its difficult to get there. you have to hitchhike to this spot i was lucky and one guy stop immediately. He went to Serbia. unfortunetaly not my destination.

Waited at the end with Brno sign. Got ride to a gas station from where we got ride in few seconds to Slovakia.

ok spot to hitchhike towards Slovakia

I think the spot is great to go Slovakia but I was even luckier, I managed to go to Miskolc, Hungary with a Slovakia sign. The cars can see you from a distance and the bus stop is perfect for stopping.

A lot of traffic, mostly - but not only - cars from Germany, Austria, but also Hungary, Slovakia and Czechia. However! Germans won't take you, so it is better not to waste time with them...

Quite a good place to continue on the road outside Krakow - in the direction of Czech Republic/Slovakia

Pretty unlucky. There was construction work and no one was going to Slovakia. Took a ride to Zakopane in the end

Quickly got a ride in our direction. We wanted to go to Slovakia but it didn't seem like anyone was going there. If you want to go to Zakopane it should be pretty easy

Not too much traffic and cars coming from the main road are going quite fast, try to stand somewhere where road signs won’t hide you from them. Not ideal, but basically all traffic to eastern Slovakia from this part of Poland goes through here. Ideally avoid getting dropped here and get a direct ride to Slovakia from further north.

With SK/Prešov sign, got picked up by a fellow hitchhiker going to Białka almost immediately. Be careful about where you get dropped tho, all the traffic going to Slovakia follows the main road but not all spots are safe.

Many cars going slowly and leaving Krakow, lots of space for them to pull over at the bus stop but be careful because you have to stand on a slim patch of grass for drivers to see you. With a sign saying SK I got a ride to Nowy Targ by a guy going to Slovakia but not the right direction.

Got a ride to Krakow in 5 minutes. Slow traffic and everyone heading for Slovakia is coming through here because the highway is not finished.

Few cars, and not going to Miskolc or Slovakia. I ended up walking more than an hour through the fields to the MOL petrol station to the east.

Good spot if u go to Slovakia. A lot of space for cars or trucks to stop.

I’ve decided to use this spot because of bus stop, where I could hide in case of heavy rain (it was a rainy day). There are also traffic lights just before the bus stop, so cars are slowed down a bit. Plus they can safely use the bus stop to stop there. It took me only about 20m to get a direct ride back home to Zilina (Slovakia) which is around 190km.

beautiful place. we were just before gas station in Slovakia. 2hrs. than moved here. one big family in 2 cars took use to Oradea directly!

Decent spot to get a ride to Slovakia

it’s ideal if you go from ped border crossing from slovakia, many cars from there go here, i got a ride from a postman from Nova Poshta (Нова пошта) from the boarder to this spot:)
