At the traffic lights, got a ride by a nice woman to Bled.

it’s high trafic, we stood there for hours. wanted to go to Croatia. nothing worked, no tables worked. On this spot hitchhikers staying almost everyday (we have met 13 of them at the same time (CRAZY😁), so that’s why maybe no one takes you even if it’s high traffic. Its better to go to the right on A2 to some bus or gas station (some of us did this and the got picked up). Anyway. Some guys were going to Zagreb and one car took them straight to Zagreb.

3 of us waited there for a long time with a sign to ljubljana but no luck-eventually we went to the train station, but we needed almost 5 hours to get from sevnica to Ljubljana

a guy at the gas station in Sevnica told 3 of us to wait at that road (we had a sign for Ljubljana) but we had no luck-eventually a guy stopped to tell us to go where the road goes to the left(where we also had no luck

we tried to get a ride at petrol but no luck-eventually a guy told us to go over the river to go to the other road(where we also had no luck)

we tried to aks people on the parking lot if they are going to Ljubljana, but no luck

3of us asked a workere there if he could take whever he is going that is nearer Ljubljana(where we tried to go) and took us to Sevnica where he is from

Not the best pot- had a sign for Kostanjevica na krki-there was three of us- eventually we changed our signed to Otočec because we thought it would be easier like that, and we got picked up by a very awesome couple that took as to Šenternej-and got us on the bus for Kostanjevica na krki

There is no way cars could stop there, it too many cars- i tried it for a bit because i saw on this website that someone checked it as the spot

Not a lot of car there, but almost everyone that goes by stops and is very nice. Got a rie to Mohorje-the poeple that picked us up were just one village away from there.

I was walking down the road. A very lovely lady picked us up and gave as a ride to Rob, where she was from. I used a sign but no need actually, there is very much not a lot of traffic there.

locals pass here, low traffic, drivers mock you for hitchhiking. 1 person stopped and left me to border. gave me water and 30 euros for me to buy a ticket. he kinda saved my life but i was lucky, not a reliable spot

2 hours, a lot of cars going to austria, cz, poland. most of them are families with no space to take you or not interested in general. the gas station is nice and clean and you can stay in your tent during the night.

Nice spot, but nobody was stoping on morning evening, had sign to trieste, but than changed to SEA. Had a ride in few minutes.

the car approached me saying if i needed help, i told him i needed to go to graz but the gas station on the highway works too. the spot is good because the red light is long and most cars are turning left to graz direction

Good spot to go to Slovenia

Not a good spot if you are trying to get towards Slovenia or Trieste. Accessible by foot but most of the traffic seems to go the airport (some people drive by fast just to cut the congestion line to turn right onto the airport) had a sign saying Possiomo Autogrill (next gas station) and after 2-3hr we gave up, first time giving up a spot wouldn’t recommend and there’s accouple of cop car who stopped here but didn’t bother us thankfully.

Really busy. Good spot to go to Venezia or other destinations south west. I had to go to Slovenia and it turned out to be a bit tough. Most cars were completely packed. A nice Italian Family brought me to Triest.

IMPORTANT: this worked before the autobahn was finished! got a ride to Zagreb from girl going to Slovenia. Cars go slow after roundabout, place to stop. In the middle of nowhere, but i was dropped off here.

Great spot for Slovenia

Didn't get a lift. Heading to Slovenia, had a sign for Tarvisio then changed it to Italy. Tried 30 minutes one evening then 30 the next morning. Could have tried longer but caught a bus to the border. Spot seems good, space to stop at the bus stop but cars are going quite fast and perhaps not all of them are going to Italy.

Guy and girl heading to Slovenia, had a sign saying Nötsch / Arnoldstein. Good spot, cars are going pretty fast but there's a big extra lane for cars joining the road, and cars on the road can stop on that. Got a lift to Arnoldstein after about 15 minutes.

Guy and girl heading to Slovenia, with sign for Lienz. Good spot, lots of traffic, got picked up pretty quick. No traffic lights but when we were there the little side road was blocked off with barricades which we moved a bit to make space for cars to stop. Got a lift to central Lienz.

Got lucky a guy bring us to the gas station after Slovenia border but there is not so much cars, mostly with Zagreb shields

Although this spot seems hard to get to at first (you have to take a bus, walk and then jump a fence), it is worth it. There was a lot of truckers resting, asked two croatian guys where they were going and they took me right to the slovenia-croatia border.
