Already hitchhiked here twice, both times the wait time was around 15-20 minutes. It was in summer, and there were many cars, so just had to wait for one to stop. Destination was in Dolyna both for us and the drivers.

this boarder does not allow you to cross by foot, i was unlucky and didn’t catch any car so i was walking from Krakovets (in Lviv there’s a bus station — 50 hrn or so). when i got to the boarder, border guards stopped me and warned that i couldn’t cross this border by foot, but they gave me a green light to ask the drivers in queue for me to cross with them. and DONT leave the car until you exit the boarder highway cuz you will have troubles with polish boarder control (it’s forbidden in poland to hitchhike in highways but no one cares anywhere but boarder cuz they’ve got guards yk)

Я кожного разу коли хочу доїхати на Франкіаськ стою саме тут. Але вам треба вставати так щоб вас бачили. Дуже легко звідси доїхати до Бучача, до Франківська інколи буває треба довше постояти, але скільки б не стояв завжди доїдеш, виняток - ніч. Вночі вже важче звідси добратися кудись

Отже, з цієї точки я дуже часто зупиняю. Там зупиняється дуже багато машин, тому що вони звикли що там завжди хтось стоїть і пиняє. Найлегше добраттся з цієї точки в напрямку Дружби, Теребовлі, Чорткова, а якщо пощастить, то і до Заліщиків можна і навіть далі(але то хіба фури вже) я зазвичай пиняю в напрямку Бучача, Івано-Франківська, на машину до Івано-Франківська зазвичай доводиться довше чекати, але це як коли. Щонайголовніше, це те, що в цій точці найкраще пиняти в вечері, після 18.00, якщо це літо. Тому що це зупинка, і що 10-15 хв приїзджають міські автобуси. Коли бачите їх, тоді зразу відходьте в бік, і чекайте поки вони проїдуть, щоб автобус мав куди заїхати, і не сталося ніякої аварії, після того як проїдуть, можете собі спокійно далі пиняти. Якщо вже сутеніє, обов'язково включацте ліхтарик на телефоні, щоб вас було видно. Добратися до цієї точки з міста можна маршруткою номер 18 і 8, Щасливої Дороги! З Богом!!!

There should be a stop here for transport going to Uzhhorod, so it is convenient for cars to stop. Many people travel from Chop to Uzhhorod during the day to work or to the doctor

This is a surprisingly nice spot for something before the border. An open road with ample space to pull into the roadside car park. Lots of French traffic too since a lot of people go to El Pas De La Casa to for cigarettes and alcohol, then turn round and go home.
The bus here from Andorra la Vella is deceptively long, and surprisingly more expensive than the other routes; so in my case, getting here from La Massana was a proper headache. Andorra's public transport really is nothing to write home about!

After a short walk and a talk with a very confused supermarket security guard, I was picked up by a mother and daughter from Ukraine, who took me to L'Hospitalet. Sadly, I never got their names…

Arguably one of the best spots in Poland. Great to catch a ride towards Wrocław or Katowice. With some luck you can also find a driver going to Kielce, Lublin, Rzeszów or even Ukraine or Czech Republic.

I believe there was a hole in the fence, close to the exit in the bushes. Just go along the fence and you'll find it.

Small station, majority of cars drive to Ukraine, but I was trying to get to Romania, so probably it's easier if you are going to UA. The trucks stop only when they have to take a long 12h break to sleep.

good location across the street from the store. drivers stop to go to the store and you can approach the driver and ask to go with him. If you are going to Ukraine, I recommend waiting for a truck with Ukrainian numbers. and then talk with the driver to get to the border;)

not exactly the spot, but look forthe entrance of the port. there are ferries coming time to time with lot's of trucks to Slovenia, North-Italy, Hungary, Ukraine, etc. stand after the roundabout, because there is a place for them to pull down.
