In the evening (19:30) we could not find a new ride, so we pitched our tent on the field behind the gas station. In the morning, there was more traffic and we found a ride to Besançon quite fast by walking up to people and asking.

This petrol station is a good spot if you want to go in the direction of Mulhouse or to Remiremont. Unfortunately we wanted to go to Belfort and the weren't a lot of cars going there or they didn't have space for two people. We waited two hours.

Very calm petrol station, got no ride after 1 hour. Only a car chase on the road was in someway an entertainment. You could easily reach Remiremont after going south and then get through the public waste deposit and then following the train's rails.
BUT !!! There is no train and hardly no bus to South or East.
