Aire de l'Estalot
I was stuck here for quite a while on a saturday early evening. First I asked around at the gasstation, good amount of traffic but all cars going to spain were full. I almost gave up, but then I stood with a sign "Bayonne" at the exit of the service place and a truck picked me going directly to San Sebastian. Pay Attention to the trucks for long distance rides! :)rating: 4/5, wait: 90 min 🪧, ride: 269 km ↙

Most cars go to Bordeaux or towards Spain but a guy took me in the direction of Toulouse after 20 min.

Good spot to spend the night. Wel lit and safe as well. Lot of traffic though so expect to be woken up quite a lot.
In the morning, ±9am, waited here for about 1,5 hours. First with a San Sebastian sign and when that didn't work out a Bayonne Sign. In the end someone offered to at least take me around Bordeaux, helping a lot.

i waited for hours with a sign trying to go south towards spain (A63) - tons of people but no-one would take me. it was a saturday afternoon, tons of people going for vacation so full cars. i guess it was just bad luck.

Good place if you go to Bordeaux or south (Spain/Pays Basque) but almost 0 cars to Toulouse or Agen.

To the south : Spain-Espana / Basque Country - Euskadi.
