In the middle of summer it was pretty difficult to get a ride to the Slovenia. Cars were full or were driving to the direction to Croatia. Only few people spoke english and it was big problem to speak with them as we didn't know how to speak Italian.- We have been there last summer and the gas station was under construction and there was big chaos and not a lot of space to hitchhike.

You cant sleep here too relaxing, because there are many costums officers and policemen. (The slovenian boundary is not too far, and the ploice officers molest the truck drivers.)

Medium size service station but perfect if you are heading to Slovenia/Hungary as there is a highway pass vending kiosk so you can easily pick the good candidates.
