Really easy to walk here from Bellinzona, around 2km. Crossing the pedestrian bridge you have some beautiful hidden beaches in the river you can also refresh before hitch-hiking. (In good weather of course!)

Got here on a tuesday at about 2 - 2:30 pm. Went from one car to the shops minding our business. Get out the shops, asked 2 - 3 drivers an got a ride to Milano.

got a ride to Milano in 10 minutes. This station has the perfect size in my opinion. Lot of traffic but small enough to stay in the centre of attention so people kind of have to think about giving you a ride.
