Got a ride direction amsterdam. Guys from BP told me it was forbidden to hitchhike there, I'm not sure if it's true and what they can do if you persist doing it, but I got a ride 1 min after they told me I couldn't stay there. Waited 5 min in tottal―Gustavobretz, September 2014
Got told by employees that BP's company policy wants hitchhikers to ask only at the sides of the shop building. Didn't get hassled ever before here, so I'd suggest just asking in front of the building like usual. If they do bother you, you can always move away (or not...).

Petrol station Bijleveld. This is the big service station between Rotterdam/The Hague/Delft/Leiden/Zoetermeer/Gouda.
You can find here rides towards Zwolle, Apeldoorn, Arnhem and Eindhoven/Maastricht.
