Circle K
Me and a friend got dropped off on the freeway and the cops caught us hitchhiking there (what is illegal) and drove us to here as it is a safer and legal place for hitchhiking. There's a gas station here, and we started to talk to the drivers. Many didn't even open the window to talk to us, many just ignored us as if we were invisible and no one was going (at least it is what the few who answered said) north to Helsinborg. I think this area is a residencial neighborhood, apparently not lots of people are going to travel from here. But at least the chances of been picked up in here might be higher than on the road where cars aren't allowed to pull over and you can barelly find places where they could do so. Cars go REALLY fast on the freeway. We gave up on hitchhiking after around 30min here because it was already 4pm and we were actually going to Oslo. We got a ride to the closest bus stop, caught a bus to Malmo central station and headed to Oslo by bus. I'll try it again in another opportunity but hitchhiking in Sweeden seemed to be very tricky. Avoid Malmo always you can!―Anonymous, April 2014
