It was my best match in 10 years of hitchiking. 2 minutes max. a trucker took me to paris direct.
I took the train from bx to beersel station for 3€, and frome here walked for 25 minutes on a nice and calm path along the river. meditative morning walk.

aquà me dejo un auto que me traÃa de Breda ! eran tipo 4 de la tarde (sabado) y estaba lloviendo, yo iba a Lille, me hice en la salida de la estacion y fue muy dificil, por que no tenia un letrero de adonde iba, crei que me tocaria dormir esa noche hay, pero por suerte del mundo un carro paro y me llevo a 30 minutos de lille y me ofrecio hospedaje en su casa ya que la persona con la que me iba a hospedar no aparecio. para los que no son de europa como yo, esa estacion tiene wifi gratis pero solo para numero telefonicos que sean europeos, por que necesitan enviarte un mensaje y mori por eso hay.

waited one hour a bit behind the petrol station with a sign saying "France". After warming up for 5 minutes in the station I was able to get somebody to take me up to Rouen! was great

As we didn't speak French that good , we decided to stand by the exit of petrol station with a sign to Lille (FR). Wasn't a good idea. After half-an-hour spent there we went back and 15 minutes later got a car from petrol station directly to Lille. (2 people)

Around 10 minutes wait on a Wednesday morning (10:20).
I had a big back pack with me and 3 card boards. One with a "next gas station symbol", and the other 2 with Mons and Paris.
The driver told me he picked me because I had the next station symbol.
He dropped me near Nivelles from where I continued to France.

a really good spot to go south. In the direction of Paris. It s possible to reach by going through the little town along the highway. There s a little way parallel to it. Though then you have to cross a fence to reach the petrol station. About 2m high though easy to climb. I did it that way since there s no space to walk right next to the highway, so it s dangerous to walk on the highway. It s about 1-2 km from the entrance of the highway. From the center, it s possible to take the metro till Stalle and walk the rest. It s maybe 45 min of walking..

had to walk all the way to this station via the road by the highway, but you should go up to the gas station as you see it, because later on, there's a fence which continues for some time (there was a hole). went to Paris - got a ride to ~Lille in 15min

HHiked from there to Lille. Had to wait about 20 minutes for a ride on a Thursday around noon. I got there by hhiking from the spot 2 kms north at the red light. a lot more cars pass by there, but the gas station is a lot nicer place than up there under the bridge;
by the way, the spot is correct, the site is no more under construction as in the satellite image ;)

Never tried yet, but could be an excellent place as a petral station (1.5 km from Stalle).
