Got here late in the night. A lady denied me a ride but offered 20euros instead :D I denied them went to sleep in nearby forest. Morning I was asking around for about an hour. Quite many locals. Than moved to thumb on the on ramp. After 10min i got a ride to STHLM.

We were there before the sunset (August 2014). From the gas station it´s also possible to take another road leading to the city, besides the highway entrance. Lot of traffic was local but eventually we were offered a ride to Uppsala.

perfect spot for E4 south. You can stand right by the exit towards Stockholm and cars have lots of space to see you and pick you up. Very convenient cause you can also go and ask drivers directly at the gas station.

This was a perfect spot! worked for me 2 times - both going south towards Sthm. It's a big parking/gasoline station so quite many cars pass by. It's also possible to go down to the highway and get a ride from the main traffic (not only from people who stop at the station). I did that and it worked!
