This spot is very reliable to provide long rides towards Göteborg/Oslo when you're trying to go towards Stockholm, and the other way around. Waiting usually pays off though ;-)

One of the best stops in the area, lots of cars all coming from the highway. Many of them headed towards helsingborg. After 90 minutes we got a ride towards jönköping. Good circulation of cars though

Arrived here in early August, on a Friday 20.00. tried for two hours then. No luck, low but reliable frequency. Mostly Swedes, and danish plus Germans. Went camping and tried in the morning. I hiked 2km away because of the highway noise, on the east side. Asking a farmer for a bed or barn crossed my mind. Crossing west is possible, there's an underpass if you go a little north.
Glumslöv 9AM Saturday.
30min for offer to Snapparp. in the meantime I got 2x Stockholm and 1 offer to Helsingborg. I talked to people at the gas station, but carried a sign saying "Norr på E6". Toilets are free and accessible until midnight I was told.

Good place, got a lift to Goteborg in 15 minutes in a summer afternoon.

Very nice place!
We were here twice (couple): once on way north, once on way south. THERE IS FREE HOT SHOWER on the west-side station and nice field to camp on east-side station. Village is nice and you can go for a nice walk to see the sea.
Getting a ride to Malmo is easy, going north is a bit harder though - we got to station about 40 km before Gotenborg.

It's normal gas station on the way towards Helsingborg, Gothenburg, Stockholm. I got a lift there in the late afternoon, waited about 10 mins because of rain, then tried the first people going out from the gas station and asked them. I was lucky - they were from Luxembourg and going towards Stockholm. Spent with them 2 days and next day in the afternoon arrived in Stockholm. It's worth trying it, maybe better than to get into Helsingborg.

well i was there on a monday from 11AM to 6PM
2h i had a Stockholm sign
3h i was asking arround
2h I had a E4 sign
then i got a ride, not on E4, it was a bulgarian truck driver going to Skovde or somewhere arround, he took street 26 from Halmstadt and then later decided to drive to Jonkoping....
