Cars are passing by very fast and haven't got much time and room to stop. I went on the ramp that connects to this highway. Traffic is low there, but cars are driving very slow and the road is wide so they can stop safely there. Waited 15 minutes

Hitchhiking direction to Plzen.
Good spot, directly at the border where a lot of cars stop to change money etc.
Just ask around. There is also a bridge, so you could change side.
