This probably used to be a good spot but the McDonald's is not here anymore and there is only a Shell gas station. The station is basically empty and there are almost no cars or trucks. We got lucky and got a ride to Zagreb with a romanian guy who was taking a nap in his parked car. I would highly suggest to not hitchike in this place. We got a ride with truck driver to Varaždin. This is a good spot to Croatia. There is a MC Donald and some truck drivers stops here

We (2 persons) were going to Zagreb and ok it's not a good spot for this direction but we were picked by a young, very nice truck driver (cement truck) so maybe you can have the chance to be picked by him, he does hungary/zagreb every day :)

Most truck traffic stopped here is going all the way to Italy via Slovenia. Not good if you are trying to go to Croatia.

[08.08.2010] most people drove still to the balaton, instead of give us a ride southwest to Zagreb. full tourist cars mostly!
