Got dropped off here begin of April. Got a ride at 6pm within 5min with my sign saying "M6 North". Waited after the petrol station. But you can even ask people at parking area.―LaZubi, April 2017

Good spot for going to Liverpool or Manchester (except when there's a football crowd), but you'll be hard pressed finding anything going further south.
