Even if there is construction, the McDonald's is still open! The first truck driver I asked took me all the way to Wörthersee

Nice place! Not much of the traffic, but 90 percent goes to Graz or further.
You can get there by train from Vienna + a little bit of walking
Asked few people before met a couple going all way to Croatia.

A lot of poles going towards slovenia or croatia that are willing to take you if you ask nicely. Spend around 10 minutes asking people near gas station and McDonalds and found a ride almost to Zadar

Well, this is the best spot near Wienna. Many cars, McDonalds, wait definitelly for a long drive! It took us 20 minutes to get a car directly to Italy.

We were waiting here with sign "Graz" but nobody stopped. Later we noticed Czech couple and we asked them. They took us to Ljubljana.

Going south to Graz. It took us about an hour to get there form Wien - first by train to Wiener Neustadt, then by foot) A good walk for a good spot.
