In theory not a bad spot to get to Czechia, but waiting there on the last day of a holiday season makes it more difficult, since more cars are going to Vienna than out of Vienna. Had a sign to Brno

Good spot easy to get out of Vienna, easy to get from here to Brno, i even get straight ride to Prague

We waited here for 2 hours (2 other groups of hitchhikers waited for similar time) and didn’t get a ride so we changed the spot to one closer roundabout, definitely better.
A lot better of cars going to Poland and Czech Republic, but drivers not always so eager to take hitchhikers.

When I was going from CZ to Vienna, I always wondered what this spot is like. Yesterday I finally stopped here on the way to CZ and here's my comment: I was standing at the roundabout and was surprised that more cars are going towards Vienna than CZ/Poland. Anyway after 30 mins a guy strangely stopped in the middle of the roundabout to check something and when I showed him my CZ sign he took me. I think it is worth stopping here when going from CZ somewhere faraway from Vienna. There were lots of cars going south.

Directions: Bron, Prague, Poland
A big petrol station with McDonald's. The best spot to leave Vienna in all north directions. Hike from a little roundabout there.
