Please note, if you need a break from hh you can walk out the gas station and go to lake Tinninger for a swim or shower (40 min). Easy to camp around as well at night.First car that stopped for me was going to Innsbruck, second car dropped me in Munich on it's way to Switzerland.

23 hours, trying to get to Innsbrook. Got some pretty unfriendly responses when approaching drivers. Eventually made sign for Munich, got a lift 6km to turning south, then waited 2 minutes and got a lift...

Good spot to go toward Munich, the first car stopped for us (boy,girl) was going to Stuttgart, but they were really nice they drop us in the centre of Munich

two guys hitchhiked here a car to Munich after one hour of waiting. The place is not so bad, many trucks going a longer distance.

in summer time you'll find many cars going to F, NL or DK.
Be aware that gas prices in Germany are much higher than in Austria which means that Austrian cars coming from Salzburg and going to Insbruck are less likely to stop here. Better try truck drivers going to Italy.
