TravelCenters of America - Salt Lake City
Waited all day here, asked around the truck stop to see if they were heading west and if they could give me a lift. Got a lot of cold shoulders. It's against most truckers work policies to pick up hitchhikers so I was told too many times. Ended up getting the bus west to Wendover where it took 10 mins of waiting on an on-ramp to hitch a ride from a trucker to Reno.―Anonymous, May 2014
There's a good spot heading east to sit right by the exit of the lot. I caught a ride only going into a Flying J in the city where I got stuck for two days. Definitely wish I'd stayed at this truck stop waiting for one out of Utah.

There are two truck stops here. Walk around asking enough, and you can easily find a ride to Reno, Oakland, or elsewhere. A bus from Salt Lake goes by, but I don't know which one.
